Time for another Wacky Wednesday! Love that we are half way through this busy week already and I still have a lot more to get accomplished. Let's jump right in today!
This was another bonus project I sent to my Stamps in the Mail participants this month. The stamp set From My Heart is a great set on so many levels. The images coordinate beautifully with our punches and framelits.
You can find all the supplies used for this card below.
TIP: Do you like using our Stampin' Around Wheels? For many stampers I hear they don't use them as much because they can never get the image straight or they don't press hard enough to get a crisp image. For this card if you look carefully it's not only off kilter a bit but I also didn't complete the image across the entire card. I loved how this turned out. A couple things to keep in mind: First, always make a few practice passes with a wheel so you can get a feel of how the wheel works. This will also help make sure you have the image going the appropriate way. Use a ruler or a book end to wheel against to keep the wheel straight. Lastly, keep practicing. Stampin' Up! has many beautiful wheels to choose from and these are great to use for backgrounds or to add another stamped image layer to a card or any project.

Today's layout is simple. It's more about the embellishments and Stamp brush layering than anything.
MDS Tip: My favorite downloads to use are the Overlays. I use an Overlay on 99% of my Digital layouts. I love the texture that they provide. Simply start your Digital layout with any color cardstock and then place an Overlay of your choice over it. From there begin layering your embellishments and stamps.
You can see all the digital downloads used for this layout HERE.

I have converted all of my wheels to "clear mount" via the clear mount cling foam. Super easy to do and makes the images so much easier to use.
Love your ideas! and hearing about your family.
Another tip I tell my customers with the wheels is to stand up – when you sit you tend to lean the wheel toward your body and standing over it seems to help keep it even….
Love your ideas!

I agree Monika. Of course I cannot stamp sitting down period. I always stand when I’m stamping. 🙂
Love your card and had you not said anything, I would have presumed that you planned the musical strip to be as it is…! Thank you and others for the tips. I guess I have to force myself to practice as I really like the effects of wheeling. Your page is great! TFS!
