I woke up this morning to a beautiful crisp fall day.  Brandon even wore a light weight jacket as it was a bit chilly for his liking.  You can already see the leaves starting to change.  I LOVE the beauty that Fall brings to Virginia and there are not too many things I love about Virginia!  Soon the trees will be spectacular in color and it's really breathtaking.  What tree do you love watching change colors? My favorite is the maple tree.

Today's card fits right in with the Fall feeling in the air.

I used the stamp set Wonderfall and paired it with the Autumn Accents Bigz Die to make this creation even easier.  NO CUTTING except with my Big Shot.  I love it when Stampin' Up! makes things easy for me.  If you are a crafter on the run, this is a GREAT stamp set to use for fall.  To make the pot even sweeter, you can also get this stamp set in digital format.  WHOA!  Simma down NOW!  It's the beauty of Stampin' Up!

Tip: You know I love embellishments but I love it even more when I can stack my Naturals Designer Buttons on top of each other as an added layer. When stacking your buttons like I've done in the photo above you have many options to keep them together.  You can tie them together with Linen Thread just as I've done above.  You could also use a Glue Dot to keep them together.  Lastly, try using a Hot Glue Gun to keep the buttons from NEVER moving.  Go ahead, try it today.

Tip: I created "veins" on my leaf by running it through my big shot with my Spider Web Folder.

  1. Kimberly, I love this card!  The layers on the little acorn are a great touch!  Living in Vegas, we usually don't get autumn leaves until Thanksgiving and there are not that many trees that change color in the valley–I really miss that!  Enjoy the fall in Virginia!

  2. Great card Kimberly! Way to knock it out of the park! Yeehawww doggie!!
Okay I'm just a wee bit excited! love, Julie
