Happy Friday! It's time for the My Digital Studio Blog Hop. This week the theme was to use the Re-Color tool in MDS. It's a very simple tool that's easy to use and makes such a difference on your layouts. On this particular layout I used the recolor tool on almost all of my stamp brushes and embellishments and the most exciting one was the photo. You will see that I changed the colors on stamp brush "Our Family", making the stamp brush two different colors. I love how this looks. I also changed the color of the embellishment below the title "Our Family".
Tip: If you are new to My Digital Studio, try the recoloring tool on word stamp brushes. It's fun to recolor the different words to make them stand out even more on your projects. Also experiment on your photos to give them a different look. My photo with Russ and I was originally Black and White. I recolored it with Crumb Cake (imagine that?) and it turned the photo to a sepia tone.
You can find all the downloads I used HERE.
