Flower Patch | Stampin’ Up!

Flower Patch | Stampin’ Up!

Happy Hump day!

I’ve got a bazillion things to tell you.

First, let me share my pretty…

Flower Patch Stamp set, Stampin' Up!

Gosh!  Love this Flower Patch stamp set.  I didn’t think I would because I’m not a flower girlie.  BUT… Just love that it’s a 2 step stamp set AND there are matching framelits.  No cutting.  Just turning my Big Shot.  YEE HAW!!

I wanted to give this a vintage feel so I added the Typeset Designer Paper and (hopefully you have this in your hot little hands by now) and the new Venetian Crochet Trim.  It’s delish!  You can see all the supplies used below.

Let’s chat for a second!  You may have noticed that you are not getting your RSS feeds like you use to.  I’m working on making a switch and dumping Feedburner.  I heard it’s a seamless process so I am expecting major hurdles for myself.  That’s usually how it happens.  Ha ha.  I will be switching to Feedblitz just so you are aware.

It’s time for an NEW Stamps in the Mail.  This is the 24th Round!  WOW!  We are tackling the Kinda Eclectic stamp set for this round.  Click HERE and read all the details about this round of Stamps in the Mail.  Registration ends SOON.  Sign up quickly.

Russ update!  Very exciting news came down the pike yesterday.  Russ had his driving eval and he PASSED with flying colors.  We were  so excited for him.  He has to have a knob thing installed in his car for one handed drivers but otherwise this opens HUGE doors for him.  INDEPENDENCE!  He will have even more.  He is thrilled.  He is really progressing nicely.  I’m so proud of him and all of his hard work.  Thank you for your continued prayers.  We love you!!

Time to pick up the Prince from therapy.  He has a Dr. Appointment next.  It’s BOTOX day. I’m hoping to slide under the needle and get a few squirts in my forehead…. Wish me luck. Well, wish him luck more.  XOXOXO

Paper Pumpkin Sneaky Peek!

Do you just love the idea of something pretty coming to your door every month? The idea of Paper Pumpkin is very exciting to me for many reasons and I wanted to share them with you.

For almost 6 years I've been doing a program very similar called Stamps in the Mail.  It's my favorite program/service that I provide.  Paper Pumpkin is slightly different as it will cater to the many people that just do not have time to craft where Stamps in the Mail is like "Boutique" style stamping and more time involved.  Stamps in the Mail is for the paper crafter that just wants to create it ALL.

I love that I will be able to offer BOTH! I will also be signing up for the Paper Pumpkin because the stamp images are exclusive and they are just AWESOME.  I love that when I need to make FAST simple cards I will be able to with this program.  I also like that I will be able to use these images on other projects outside of the Paper Pumpkin.  Now that is what I call getting a lot of bang for my BUCK!!

For those of you signing up for the Paper Pumpkin with me as your demonstrator I won't disappoint.  Each month I will also send you a link to exclusive projects that I've created using the Paper Pumpkin images.  If you already signed up for Paper Pumpkin and chose me as your demonstrator,  let me know by EMAILING ME so I can send you a special handmade card.

Now, if you want a program that is a little more Boutique Style and more involved, look no further.  Stamps in the Mail is a fun and exciting program that comes right to your door.  The projects are upscale, layered and what I like to call, FLUFFY!  This program is more expensive but you get a lot of product each month. Click HERE to read all about Stamps in the Mail and choose a program that is a perfect fit for you.  The good news is both programs serve a GREAT purpose… they keep you creating pretty things.

Here is  a little sneak peek using an image from one of the Paper Pumpkin kits.  I *love* this cute stamp and totally used it on a different project.

I started this little Valentine project with an old Glassine Bag from the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit in the last mini.

I have them therefore I'm going to use them UP!!  The beautiful Pool Party flower comes from the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit. WOW, WOW, WOW!!  I love these.  Love the Kraft Paper Tags that are pre-embossed. It only took minutes to put 6 of these together. I fired up my Glue Gun for this project and used it on every piece to secure it down easily.

The words "Hey There" comes from the Paper Pumpkin kit.  I altered the sentiment a little by leaving out the word "friend".  I embossed it with Pool Party on Crumb Cake cardstock.  Oh my!  I love it.

You can see a complete list of products used below.

Products Used:

Stamps: Paper Pumpkin Exclusive stamp

Cardstock: Crumb Cake

Ink: VersaMark

Accessories: Glassine Bags, More Amore Speciality Paper (129309), Pool Party Embossing Powder (#129398), Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit (#131395), Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#129324), Heat Tool (#129053).

Are you ready to receive a fun kit each month so you can create in the comfort of your home?

You decide which program works best for YOU!

I have one last share for you today.  It's Wednesday so I always like to be crazy on hump day!

Kimberly Van Diepen

There is nothing better than self portraits on a girls trip.  The four of us took plenty of them and now I can't wait to keep the memories alive. Every time I look at this photo it makes me grin from ear to ear.

What's very exciting is I used the new Nobody's Business Digital Photobook Template that was released yesterday!!

Love all the patterns the stamp brushes are just AMAZING. You will love the word art.  WOWSER!

You can download the PDF of products used HERE

One last thing…. are you socially connected? Let's be honest, if you personally know me you know "I have the gift of gab!" I love to share and I love to connect with YOU!

You can follow my adventures in so many places and each are different depending on my mood. <smirk>

Facebook– sharing just about everything

Instagram– I love "pretty" stuff and if it inspires me I'm shooting a pic of it.

Pinterest– inspiration overload. I pin on my down time and get totally inspired.

Twitter– Umm… I use it but it's more of an instant feed of stuff.  I just twit tweet everything!

I know so many of you are cold and see nothing but drab outside.

I challenge you to make sunshine in your stamp room and make something pretty come to life.

Life is too short to be silly miserable.  Let's be happy and create.

Love to each!

Something Different!

I meant to get this completed this morning but Mama duties called.  I had a little Gem that was singing and playing her violin this morning for a Christmas Concert.  It was a beautiful concert and hearing all of those angels sing was just what I needed today.

Tis the season for Gift Cards!  I don't know of many people that don't love a gift card.  Sometimes I feel like I'm taking the easy way out by getting someone a gift card but then again, I KNOW they will enjoy it.  Know what I mean? It just seems more practical.  This is where the paper crafter comes in handy.  We can make a Gift Card 100% BETTER with just a little paper, ink and stamps!

Today's project is just that! A pretty little gift card holder.  I decided to make a non holiday one because I am ALWAYS in need of one.  This Gift Card holder is easy and only takes one piece of 8 x 8 cardstock.  Grab your cardstock and a bone folder and create with me.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Creative Elements

Ink: Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse

Cardstock: Midnight Muse, Soft Suede, Very Vanila, Summer Starfruit (inside)

Accessories; Midnight Muse Double Stitched Ribbon, First Edition DSP, 1 3/4" Circle punch, Comfort Cafe DSP, Victoria Crochet Trim, Dimensionals

Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Winter Card

Happy Small Business Saturday!  It's a good day to check out your local Small Businesses and shop till you drop.  I have a little Saturday inspiration to get your MoJo working.  The Watercolor Winter stamp set was the set I chose to work with for my Stamps in the Mail this month and the ideas are continue to roll in.  This is another bonus card for my participants. As you know, I love a stamp set that I can see endless possibilities with.  It makes my Prince happy too when I can rock the projects with just one set.  This is why I stay so busy… I have a lot of sets that I need to rock the projects with.  YIKES.  Don't tell the Prince.

I started this card with Crumb Cake Cardstock and textured embossed half of the cardfront with the Chevron Textured Embossing Folder.  OH MY WORD it's my favorite.  In fact, Chevrons are SUPER trendy and I'm trying not to put them on every project I'm making.  I love, love, love them. I took a small strip of the Candlelight Christmas DSP and did a quick zig zag stitch across the paper for a little pizzaz.  A little Vellum, DSP Banners and trimmed Poinsettia's made the focal point for this card.  If you look very closely, I added a few French Knots to the center of the Poinsettia's using Whisper White Bakers Twine.  I gently brushed them with a Daffodil Delight marker to give them a little color.

Isn't this a beautiful stamp set? You can see all the products I used below and you can find all these great products in my Online Store.

Products Used:

Stamps: Watercolor Winter, Snowflake Soiree

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Vellum

Ink: Real Red, Early Espresso

Accessories: Whisper White Bakers Twine, Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper, Vintage Faceted Buttons, Chevron Textured Embossing Folder
