More and more these days I am making digital scrapbooking even easier. I take more photos using my camera phone than I do the big daddy camera I use to carry every where I went. It's so easy to load the pics from my phone to my computer and the photos are great. When something is zippity fast like that I will jump all over it. Wouldn't you?
Another great thing to capture on your phones are texts. I took a screen shot of Alexis iPod when she and her Daddy would text each other. She was very diligent about texting Russ while he was away and as busy as he was he always made time to send her a little love through the iPod. I cried when I had seen this text and knew it was a keeper. The "miss you to death" part caught my eye the most. This is one of my layouts I created for Russ' Deployment album. I kept this album very simple and not a lot fluff.
Whether it be serious or funny, catch a text and use it in a layout. Again, keep your memories alive.

Kimberly,
How did you do the screen capture on your phone? I would never have thought to do this with text messages….of course not many warrant capturing and saving….but this one, wow!! I'm glad you came up with the idea to use it, what a treasure for both your husband and daughter!

Karen, if you have an iPhone you will press the on/off button and home button at the same time. It will snap a shot of your screen and it will go into your camera roll. It’s great for little moments like these. XOXO
Thank you Susan. 🙂 Those were some bittersweet days. Glad they are in the memory books.
