Good morning! I was supposed to finish up my Wacky Wednesday post yesterday but instead got caught up in my Wacky Life (or should I call it my Wacky Mama duties.) After those awesome duties were complete my body clearly told me- rest! I complied. There is something great to be said about getting a good night's sleep. I feel GREAT today.
Let's get to it…
The Great Pumpkin card. It's a simple card with lots of layers. Below you will find the supplies to create this one.
Tip: Use your Extra Large punch to create your pumpkins.
Tip: When creating your pumpkins, place the oval punches onto your Stampin' Pierce Mat and use your score tool applicator to add a little definition to the pieces. You will notice the pumpkin on the left has more straight lines. BIG Mistake. It doesn't look real. I tried this first using my Simply Scored tool. Then a light bulb went off and I tried it on my Stampin' Pierce Mat. Much better looking.
Tip: Trim two very small pieces of the Sweater Trim and pull the trim apart slightly. Attach behind the pumpkins with a Glue Dot to create stems.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Day of Gratitude
Ink: Early Espresso- Sponging only
Cardstock: Crumb Cake
Accessories: Natural buttons, Linen Thread, Summer Smooches DSP, 7/8" Natural Cotton Ribbon, 1/4" Sweater Trim, 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain ribbon, 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Framed Tulips Folder, Extra Large Oval Punch
