Holy Cow! I can’t believe it’s Saturday ( very early Saturday!). Where in the world did the week go?
I’ve been super busy again this week getting ready for another craft show. I am pleased to announce this is the last one. While I really do enjoy meeting so many great people at these events they are a lot of work to get ready for. I am sure many of you can relate. I have a few things to share tonight and I will try REALLY hard this weekend to upload some of the projects I have been working on especially for this show. I have to say a big thank you to my friend and partner Christy for the hard work she has put into these shows as well. We do entertain each other at the shows and I couldn’t do these at the pace we do without her.
So, I have to share FIRST these super cute tags we did at my Christmas Tag class this past week. We did 20 tags total, 4 of each design.
This first one is a Top Note Die Cut just folded in half. I used the Ski Slope designer paper and stamped the snowflake from Winter Post in VersaMark and then used Iridescent Ice over it to add a little fun shimmer. I love using those Felt Flowers. (I know, you have heard this 1000x).
This is my favorite tag for a couple reasons. I added Cinnamon Sticks to the top and they just smell GREAT. Then of course you have Kraft paper and honestly what doesn’t look good on Kraft? Exactly! Anyhoo, I used Winter Post stamp set, again!
This one uses all kinds of trinkets. The chipboard frame was embossed with Iridescent Ice. I used the Curly Label punch and the Big Oval Punch. The Scallop was made using the Big Shot Die Cut Scallops #2.
Now, these last two tags were not my original ideas. I have no clue where I had seen the original designs, but I changed them up a bit and these are what I came up with. I just love that Reindeer tag. Hopefully many of you have purchased that Country Living Holiday Collection Kit. Again, fabulous stamp set and great kit contents. I love the stamp set. I stamped the Enjoy stamp and embossed with Iridescent Ice, again. 🙂 Then I took some clear wrapping paper and wrapped it to look like a piece of candy. Super easy and fun. The Reindeer uses the Scallop #2 Big Shot Die Cut.
Have you made your Holiday tags? I hope this was a little inspiration for you.
Okay, one last thing! I waned to make some quick cards today to add to the collection of cards to sell. I really enjoy using our Rub Ons and they make cards sooooooooooo simple and fun. I used them on this card below.
Hope your week was super fabulous and your weekend is filled with stamping at some point.
