Scrapbook Crop Bound
Oh boy! Oh boy! I’m headed for a scrapbook crop weekend and I couldn’t be more excited.
Why, you might ask?
I get to meet new friends! I have found from past experience a crop is filled with friendship. It’s always great to be in the company of like minded people and this is definitely the place.
My bags are packed to the gills. I’m teaching 3 classes this weekend and doing a make n take at another crop. How exciting????
The best part about these crops is they are on the gulf coast. You can look out and see the beautiful white sandy beaches.
Scrapbooking (or crafting) + beach = Bliss!
Before I head out I wanted to share a project. I truly have been on a creative high the last few weeks. Feels so good. I know God has His hands on the steering wheel of the direction I’m heading. I’m starting to step out into new things which can be scary at times but exhilarating all the same.
Sitting on my desk I have a basket of “dud” materials. Basically it’s stamped images or die cut things that didn’t make a cut on a card but can be used at a later time. This card was created from the duds. Just a piece of this and that t
hrown together.
A stamp set I have not used enough is Ray of Sunshine. Take a look at this stamp set. It’s a GREAT piece. I love the greetings as well as the images. I paired this stamp set with the Kinda Eclectic set which was perfection for me. I love the sunburst and then adding the face for the sun in Gold Embossing powder was icing on the cake.
Since I used the Hello thinlit from the Hello You Thinlits Dies, I decided to just use a piece of the sentiment from an image in Ray of Sunshine.
Before I leave…. a couple reminders…..
Although many miles separate us, I would love to stamp with YOU. You can stamp with me, in your PJ’s and the comfort of your home with Stamps in the Mail. See all the details HERE. I would love for you to join me. It’s going to be a GREAT round.
XOXOXO
