Frame It With A Twist

It’s time for another My Digital Studio challenge and this week you will learn t0 Frame It With a Twist!!

Typically we use frames on our layouts to make pictures stand out.  The challenge this week is to use digital frames in a different way.  You can frame anything but a picture.  Use frames to highlight journaling or the entire layout.  My Digital Studio has all kinds of frame digital art so you have GREAT options.  

I decided to use three different frames on my layout and used them as embellishments instead of framing a picture.  I changed the colors to match within the layout using the “Match Color” Tool.  I love this tool because I can use colors from pictures or Designer Paper to match.  

Another F.U.N. product I used on this layout was the Cork pieces from the Sale-a-Bration digital art you can earn.  I added little gems on the right upper side of the layout and then used the diamond cork pieces between the gems.  I loved how this turned out because I’ve struggled to use the cork pieces on my paper crafts so it was extra fun to use them on a digital layout.

I want to share a card I created this weekend that also uses the Cork from Sale-a-Bration.
