Here is the next installment!

As always, my life keeps me busy! I've been stamping… however my little family has been keeping me busy too!

There's home improvements:

*I just love how my family can go from silly to formal in a split second.*

And of course… Organization!  It really seems like the "organization" process of "moving in" takes forever.  If you knew how many times I've  rearranged my stamp room you would laugh.  Nothing really works until you put it to the test.  When I start to create -it's a disaster.  I cannot find anything!!  This brings me to more organization and before I know it 2 am is here.  UGH! Seriously, my stamping time typically doesn't start until 9pm.  I work all day upstairs in the house decorating/organizing. Once those sweet chick's go to bed I climb downstairs to let my mind unwind.

In between the silly's and touring the Greater DC area I've had my personal pity parties.  These tend to come after I talk to my friends far away.  It's okay, really!  I'm still allowed more pity parties for a good two months.  <smile>  Pity parties are good for me.  They make me reflect on all the great things in my life when I think everything is in the toilet!   Russ is a great listener and knows when to answer with, "Yes Dear!" and not give advice-Just listen!

I finally have the next installment of the rest of my craft room.  Keep in mind this room will change many times over until I get it just "right!"  The room is big and I love it.  It's missing one important thing right now… PEOPLE!  Guess what?  It will have GOOD people in it on Saturday for my first workshop! I'm SUPER excited!!!!  There is room for LOTS and LOTS of stampers.  <wink> So… take a peek!

The other day I shared a card I made for my son's first day of school.  Tonight I will share my daughters.  I wanted to go more girlie with hers but ended up using a different color combination that really wasn't girlie but I likey!

  4. I am inspired by your organization skills, please update videos as your room evolves!  After living in 4 houses, 3 states, in 2 years I can relate to the occaisional (moving) pity party…. question: how did you get your first workshop scheduled so quickly?  Thank-you for sharing.  P.S. Am originally from Iowa, thoroughly enjoyed your stories.

  5. Your space is amazing and inspirational!  I would love to be that organized!  Please share with us how you met the person who is holding your first workshop so quickly!  I wish I lived closer to you – I bet your workshops are so much fun!

  6. I am with Kat how are you already having a class with people?  I just moved and joined Stampin Up.  I have been following your blog (joining to try your bag, mini and card idea).  But would love some more direction:)  Thanks for sharing.

  7. I want your basement! You remember how there are no basements here in Florida — or at least they are few and far between?? I'm so jealous. Awesome space and lots of great organization ideas! Enjoy your first workshop — I bet you get bunches of bookings.

Great success on your work shop this week-end.
P.S. I've given out several packets with my business card, stamped card, & mini catalog this past week by going to a couple of different places and stamping. So hopefully they will start paying off. Thank you for all your wisdom.

  10. Oh. My. Goodness. Your stamping room is incredible! I love all your inspiration pieces! I am so not organized with my stuff… nor do I have anywhere near the amount of "pretties" you have… I need to get working! ;o)

Thanks for sharing your stamp room with us. I wish that I could have a space like that but It will come soon as we are finishing our basement…yippeee!! I really like how you have tons of displays for your customers to see.
I was wondering where did you get that cute tree that you have your halloween goodies on and as you were showing your tables, what were those white things in front of each spot?

Love your space!  Quick question – on your tables for attendees  you had a box before each space.  What is in the box and what it is for?
