Don’t forget Stampin’ Up!’s World Map Background stamp that is very trendy right now.

Neutrals

Oh my heavens. AS if my favorite thing could be a trendsetting thing? Neutrals? Hello lovely! Stampin’ Up! has this in the bag.  Think of our Neutral card stocks, Inks, and even pattern paper.  The best part is our coordinating accessories like buttons, candy dots.  Here is a card keeping with the neutrals I love so much!

Gold

Gold is super trendy and once again, Stampin’ Up! has it.  Think about our beautiful Gold Foil and the Fancy Foil Designer Vellum.  These are fantastic products and I’ve even used our Gold Foil with my Silhouette to create a Shamrock. (I’ll be sharing this project soon-stay tuned!) Stampin’ Up! also has the Gold Sequin Trim, Gold washi tape called Watercolor Wonder.  Lastly, our new Gold Bakers Twine.  YIKES.  Do you feel like you found GOLD?

Bright Colors

The first thing that came to my mind with Bright Colors being a trendsetter this year is our Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper.  Lots of BRIGHT colors and geometrical shapes.  This is a really fun and happy paper.

Watercoloring

I personally think watercoloring has always been pretty trendy. Maybe because I just love it myself.  You can see above in the projects I’m sharing today that each one of them have watercoloring as part of the added texture to the card.  One was created with an aqua painter and the other was a watercolor stamp image.

With all the trendsetters listed above, what do you notice yourself using more of?

Do you find that you are a trendsetter now? If not, I encourage you to start creating with these awesome products and be a trendsetter!

  1. LOVE LOVE LOVE the butterfly card! Can you please tell me what colors you put under them? Did you use the stamp from Happy Watercolor? Or did you just watercolor them on? Thank you Thank you! Gorgeous!

  2. Hi Lynette! On this card I used my aqua painter and freely watercolored Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Baked Brown Sugar across watercolor paper. You could get the same effect using Happy Watercolor. 🙂

  3. I am in love with neutrals. I swear that I feel most elegant wearing nothing but neutrals, and my favorite combo is neutrals on white card stock … until now. Question: We moved into a neighborhood under heavy construction and I would like to greet each new neighbor with a trio of the “We’ve Moved” cards as a welcoming gift. Would that be alright with you to CASE you in this way?

  4. Thank you Kimberly. Now I have to ask if you used watercolor paper. I’m assuming that the colored butterflies are baked brown sugar and crumb cake. Is one of them gold? Thanks again!

  5. Yes, I used watercolor paper. Works great. One of the punched butterflies is gold. The others are crumb cake and Baked Brown Sugar. I also used a vintage music sheet for one. 🙂

  6. Gotta be on the look out for old music sheets and old maps….they have such wonderful impact on your cards….. The neutral card grabbed my heart….love it!

  7. Hey Kimberly…I absolutely LOVE the Thanks card…do you recall the which stamp set the “Thanks” was from????? Thanks my friend!!!
