Time to Perk Up!

The other day I asked if you had a stamp set that you haven't used in awhile. One that you were SO in love with but it's sat on your stamp room shelf being neglected. This really made me think about a few sitting on my own shelf.  Morning Cup was one of the first stamp sets I had to have when the new catalog came out.  I was so excited about having a coffee set.  Funny how this set has just collected dust.  I pulled this stamp set out last night and had a BLAST.  What's even better is I created a video making this card because I  had a Watercoloring Trick discovery.  Whooo Hoooo!!!  I was so excited at 11pm last night and no one was here to celebrate with.  WHAT a bummer!!  I shared my excitement with you on my Video!! I hope you don't mind.  :kiss

  1. Super cute card Kimberly!  I LOVE morning cup too and just had to have it and can count the times I've used it on one hand…hope to dig it out soon!  And I love your watch, I have the same one but the smaller version:-)

I'm with you on Morning Cup.  It was the first one I bought and I've used it like, maybe once.  Love this technique – thank you for sharing!

Thanks for sharing!  I love it when something works well, it's so exciting.  I am going to try this with Perk Up today.  It was one I had to have too.  I love it and need to use it some more.  Thanks again!

  4. OK, I have to admit that I too HAD to have that stamp set…and have only used it a couple of times.  Sigh.  😉   Time to pull it out again!  Thanks for the great tip on the shimmer paint – I'll have to try it!

  5. Thanks Kimberly for the great video, new idea and beautiful card!  Morning Cup was also one of my must have sets and I have not used it enough.    You always inspire me so I just thought I'd let you know.

  6. Seems like there many of us who had the same love of Morning Cup and there it sits, uninked. Thanks for the super fun video! Your excitement is so contagious!

  7. Thanks so much Kimberly for the very cool card , video & TIP!  Love Tips.  I had to have that set too and can't wait to make your adorable card.  I love your neutral slant on things always perfect.  I better get out a forgotten set myself!  TFS with us…Barb

  8. Great tip!  I can't wait to try it, perhaps with a forgetten stamp set too!  I just adore your videos you bring a smile to my face everytime!!!  Thanks and keep 'em coming!!!!

  9. Hi Kimberly,  Fun video as always!  I love that set, and once everyone starts using it they'll *need* the matching wheel, too! Since I enjoy your blog so much I started wondering if your Prince tunes into your videos while he is away so he can hear your voice?!

  10. ooooooh!  Pretty!  I love morning cup.  It's probably my least neglected stamp set so I'll have to get out something else.  Great challenge!  I'm going to try to work it in this week.  I hate when I spend money on something and don't use it.
