The Most Wonderful Time of Year!

The Most Wonderful Time of Year!

Can you feel the excitement of the most wonderful time of year?

Running through Walmart yesterday to find the perfect turkey was not as exciting…

BUT- I sure did love seeing all the holiday foods making their way to the isles.

What Makes This Time So Magical?

The magic of the season is different for all of us, but for me I love everything about this season.

My only dislike is how rapidly the time flies during the holiday season.  I want to take everything in and make it last a long long time.

I brought Alexis with me yesterday to hunt for the perfect turkey.  My form of hunting is walking into Walmart just so you know.

In fact, my mother was having a hissy fit because it was Monday and I had not bought the turkey for our big family gathering.

Mr. Turkey is now safe in the fridge…  Pray it thaws in time…

Anyway, another reason I love this time of year is the creativity that lets loose.

I’m inspired by so many new project ideas and want to make a gazillion things.  There is only one problem… TIME.

Helping You Save Time

I have a few time saving solutions for you today that I’m pretty excited about.  This has been huge week of CREATING.

Tips & Tricks

  • The main focal point of this card is created on Watercolor Paper.  Once the watercolor wash was created using Blushing Bride and Watermelon Wonder I heat set the colors so I could then immediately emboss the greeting over it.
  • The paper ribbon was stapled over the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and doily.  To create the paper ribbon see this video HERE.
  • The card base is Blushing Bride cardstock with Watermelon Wonder layered on top.
  • Super simple and easily duplicatable saving you time.
