Steady Stream of Stamps

Steady Stream of Stamps

A stream of stamps is exactly what I’m trying to tap my way through.

My Jar of Love stamp set was at the top of the list to be inked today.

Jar of Love

The Jar of Love stamp set is packed with amazing images.  In fact, I didn’t do this stamp set justice!  There were so many images I could have used and I failed to put them on the block.

The stamp set and coordinating framelits are outstanding and you have so many options.  Fish, flowers, hearts, gumboils, a vase… the ideas are endless. Stamps, Stampin' Up!, Jar of Love

Watercolor Background

I started this card with a watercolored background with Mint Macaron, Island Indigo and Smoky Slate using an Aqua Painter.

There are tons of great greetings in this stamp set.  My favorite is the one I placed on this card- Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti.  We could definitely use more kindness around us.

Small Details

To finish this card I added a few small details-

  • layered doilies overlapped with a small piece of Linen Thread stapled in place
  • Metallic Enamel Dots were added near the greeting.  By far these are one of my favorite embellishments.

  1. Kimberly, I love this card! I’ve noticed that several of your recent cards have a watercolor style background & I was wondering if you use a stamp to do that or if you have a post showing how to do it? Thx for sharing & God bless .
