It's no secret that I've had a few new toys in my stamp room and they are sitting there starring at me as I walk by them day after day. Not that I'm neglecting them on purpose but it's happened because my life is crazy. This weekend was a little rainy and blah so I had extra time to sit in my stamp room and create away. I've been excited to test out our new Letterpress plates in the Occasions Mini Catalog. There are four different Letterpress plates offered. I've tried various ways using them but the one I fell in love with the most was the easiest way to use it. I just ran the Letterpress plate through my Big Shot with a piece of Watercolor paper. It looks elegant and feels great. Here is a simple card I made.
The photo is terrible because there is so much WHITE. Grrr…. Here is the Letterpress close:
I know it's not easy to see, but if you look close… REAL close… you can see that the Letterpress is very elegant. Nice! Love it.
As for the rest of the card, it's simple stamping using the Northern Hearts Level 1 stamp set in the mini. I also used the Tiny Tags stamp set (#118091) with the Jewerly Tag punch (#117190).
The rest of our weekend was spent with the little chicks. Alexis had requested a "spa" day and we said ABSOLUTELY! Here are my little chicks being pampered by Russ and I!
I think we were all relaxed. <smile> It was GREAT!!!
Lastly, I said I would give a list of products I used on the Boo Banner. You will find them below.
I'm excited to head to Colorado Springs this weekend for our 4th Annual Stampin' for a Cure event. We have tried to stamp out breast cancer the last three years and I know this year we are really going to STAMP it out!!!!! We have over 100 people attending the event and WE are over the MOON! My team of demonstrators and adopted demos have worked HARD for months on this event. It's almost time to watch their hard work come to action. Wish us luck this weekend. I can't wait to share the results with you. Have a GREAT week!

Hi Kimberly,
I am still with SU thanks to the team here in Sydney they gave me a saving grace and I am using it well hehe. You family are gorgeous and I love the whole sharing time with the chicks it is soooo important isn't it? They are only young once and before you know they are off your hands and leading lives of their own but the times they will talk about and laugh about are those times spent as family "pampering" each other, or whatever the activity is. . . .priceless, you cannot buy it!!!!
I sooooo wish we could get all the Halloween stamps that you lucky gals have available in your catty over there. I adore Halloween and everything about it but alas I only have other brands of Halloween stamps to make my cards with etc and do my home decor up with. Perhaps one day. . . .a girl can but dream.
Hugs
Michelle
Alexis looks so cute! I miss that age. Have fun in Colorado this weekend. I hope the weather is better than it is here. Miss you girl!
Love the clean and simple Christmas card…so elegant looking. Thanks for sharing the information on the Halloween cones/paper ribbons. I'm going to a gathering this Saturday that my upline is having and I am thinking that I may make some of these as a surprise. Have a great time in Colorado – looking forward to seeing what everyone does.
