Retro Fresh Thank You

Can you just squeal over these fun new products from the NEW occasions mini.  I think this Retro Fresh designer series paper is my fave.  I love all of the patterns and colors.  Now I just need a little time…  don't we all?

Another favorite of mine is the Gold Foil. Gold is a HOT, HOT trend right now in paper crafting and the foil is beautiful embossed.

You can tell we are back in full swing of routines again.  The kids started back to their sporting activities and school.  Last night Russ and I took Brandon to swim team practice and when we went inside there was one seat.  I told Russ he could sit there and I would go back to the car and read my book.  Swim practice is only an hour.  I remember opening the book and then having a small freak out when Russ and Brandon opened the door to the car.  I guess I took a 45 minute snoozie.  I was pretty worn out.  I think it was a well deserved nap because all the people in this house have clean underware.  That's a feat in itself!  

Russ is working on new exercises this week that he learned in outpatient therapy.  They are not easy but I had him laughing so hard over one of them that we couldn't finish.  Poor guy. It really sucks to have me as a therapy partner.  All he does is laugh.  For instance, he does 3 sets for each exercise and we count to 15 each set.  We started one of the exercises and began counting.  Blondie here messed up the count and told him we needed to start over.  We did this twice back to back and we literally started laughing hysterically.  I'm either brain dead or a terrible counter.  

This week Russ will focus on including his right arm in different tasks.  Sounds kinda funny but not easy at all.  He managed to hold a sandwich with both hands this week and we were celebrating big.  Russ and I call this tricking the brain.  We want the brain to know we REALLY are including the right arm in activities.  Again, sometimes we must laugh BIG because otherwise we may cry.  

We continue to pray and we know God has control of the situation.  We have to be patient.  Russ is patient.   Me? Ummm NO!
