Perfectly Wonderful

Happy Tuesday!

It's crazy how fast the weekend flew by.  We were so busy with the kids and therapy sessions that I swear I blinked and BAM- Tuesday is here. The best part—> it was PERFECTLY wonderful!  The kids finally went back to school this morning…. it was bittersweet.

Bitter because it's so cold outside and sweet because they were flat ready for school to begin again.

I could be in a heap of trouble this morning and find Brandon coming home because the school thinks my childs shot records are not updated.  Dear friends at my sons school… I'm not an idiot and they are up to date.  Good grief!

Today will be filled with trying to catch up on everything.  It's a task that is never complete.  There are so many things I am trying to get done in between caring for Russ and the kids.  I can only imagine my face falling into my pillow early tonight as 6:15 came VERY early for Alexis and I.

Russ had GREAT progress yesterday!  He held a sandwich with TWO hands.  Sounds so trivial but such a celebration for us.  We are trying to trick the brain.  If he starts to use it more like he normally would (althought it does not want to) then we are hoping it will help to gain the normal function again.  Not easy for Russ.

He was worn out from therapy yesterday and fell fast asleep in his chair.  I wanted to snuggle in the chair with him but knew I would be out like a light.  Duty called and dinner needed to be fixed.  Oh the life….

I have had time in the early morning hours while the dears are sleeping to create a little.  It's fast creating… like speed creating.  I know I have an opportunity to create but the time is not much.  The fun is seeing what can come out of speed creating.  I loved how it turned out.

You can see the supplies listed below.

I hope you can find time to create today even if it's speed creating.

P.S. Stay warm.  I am FREEZING and we are not having NEAR the cold weather others in the north are having.  I'll be creating today with my cute stocking cap on.

I admit to reading your last several blog posts and not ommenting…not totally sure why, but I am uplifted by today's post!   Your card, specifically the fabulous phrase, seems to totally sum up your feelings about your life…you are the opitimy of being able to make some wonderful lemon aide out of the pile of lemons that has dumped on you…wish I could be more like you when I decide to grow up!   Continuing to send best healing wishes to your Prince and more strength to the rest of you, including your parents!  Ciontinue standing strong…and warm!
