I hate to admit this but most of the week I have been a complete slug. I must admit however that I have enjoyed it. I think it was one of those times where my body just tells me to S-L-O-W down. After jumping a few time zones in a week it was good to "catch up" on some sleep and relax. During this relaxation period I've been on the hunt (lazy hunting on the internet) for a vintage piece that I want to add to my stamp room. For awhile now I've been looking for a chandelier to hang directly above my desk. It would mainly serve the purpose of "looking" pretty but a little more light would be nice too. I've looked at so many but I haven't found the perfect one yet. Tonight while I was waiting on my pies to bake I found a few fun pieces. I love the pictures because the colors are so inspiring. Check these out…
You can see the lighting that is hanging. While this light is much to small I think the rest of the decor' is just beautiful. I would love to snatch that chair up. SO pretty!
I love the cogs in this picture below. Love everything in this picture actually. YUMMY!
This just screams make a card from me…..however the real reason I love this fun inspiration is for the chandelier. It's so beautiful.
I'm hoping to find the perfect vintage shop here in Virginia. I haven't had a lot of time to go antiquing yet. It's high on my list of things to do. Russ dreads it. <hee hee>
So, keeping with my vintage theme I used one of my favorite stamp sets—> Aviary for the card below. I'm looking for a vintage Bird Cage too. I know exactly where I'm going to hang it, but haven't found it yet.
We have a big day planned with my friend Denise. We are going to her home for Thanksgiving Dinner. I can't wait. I love Thanksgiving and sharing it with friends. We have so much to be thankful for. Thank you for stopping by today and I hope your Thanksgiving is the best yet!!!! Tonight, I am going to bury myself in my stamp room. I think it misses me. Hee Hee!!!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving! Stunning card!
Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for the beautiful card. May you continue to have a blessed holiday season!
Check out Walmart.com. I found the cutest chandelier for super cheap and it hangs over my desk. (Great minds work alike). It adds a little more light and even better stylish blingy sparkle. WooHoo!!
When I lived in Northern Va., did a lot of antiquing – great shops in Fredericksburg VA, Winchester & Strasburg, VA and Frederick, MD. Have fun finding your perfect pieces!
Oh my! We love antiquing! I know, not a word…lol. Check out Fredricksburg [downtown], they have some really neat shops. Also, Ruckerville is another great place to go. If Russ doesn't want to go, just call. 🙂 I would be happy to go antiquing! 🙂 Also, there is a place off 28 that has auctions every other Saturday. Russ isn't going to like me. 🙂 Have fun on your search!
Hey Kimberly – LOVE all the pics. When you find that birdcage go ahead and buy 2 🙂 I've been looking for one forever and can't find one!!!!!!
Hi Kimberly, I have been an avid follower of your blog for a long time, and a fan of all of your projects. I really love this card…so much so that I CASE'd it and posted it on my blog today, giving you full credit of course. I just wanted to let you know that I had done this, and to say thank you for sharing your talent.
