Construction Zone

I can't believe it!  I spent a good chunk of time in my stamp room today and didn't get a single thing stamped.  How does that happen? I braved the craziness in the stores this morning.  I really didn't have to buy anything but I so love to people watch.  I love to watch them get mad.  I think something is wrong with me.  LOL!  Seriously, there are some crazy peeps out there shopping.  Anyhoo, I ended up having lunch with my friend and came home to my stamp room.  I had great intentions to stamp the day away.  I got involved in a project and ended up not stamping anything new.  Tomorrow I am bound and determined to ink something!  I should warn Russ.  🙂

Earlier this month I challenged my downline to construct and Design a House from our Decor Accents Line.  I love these little houses and the possibilities are endless with them.  They are so easy to put together, and your free to decorate the way you want.  They come flat but they are pre scored and there are directions to show you how to put it together.  The naked house looks like this:

I love that little door knob.  So cute. You can order this cute house in my On Line Store HERE. The number to order is:  #120911

Since I had challenged my downline I always like to participate too.  Here is my little house. While the embellishments took a little longer I was so excited with the final product.

My house is the Stampin' Cafe.  So fun.  I loved creating it and I love seeing it in my stamp room.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thank you to so many of you for giving tips on where to find the chandelier.  So many ideas.

Here is hoping I create like a mad woman the rest of the weekend.

  1. Love your little Stampin Cafe!! We made some today, but more "holidayish"… TFS!! I'm going to make some more.. may have to make a stampin cafe type also!! I used to have a whole village of little houses, most made ouf of milk cartons!!

  2. OMGosh!  This was so funny….I also LOVE to go to the mall and watch all the angry people – LOL!  I thought I had the market on this little sickness!  Tis' the season to be spreading joy and instead you get to see people yelling at their kids, spouses and cashiers…what's that all about?  The best time to go to see all this "joy" is a week before Christmas!

  3. Man, are we on the same wave length or what??  I spent all day yesterday in my Stamp Room and did nothing but clean it up and move stuff around.  Today….is all mine to stamp and ruin my manicure Ü
LUVIN' the Cafe'!  I spied that cute lil' coffee cup on the chimney, too!  Those buttons are fabulous on there Ü  Awesome, awesome!!

  4. Kimberly – Love this! I love coffeehouses – you should make me one! ha ha 🙂 Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  5. I love this little house, excuse me– cafe. Makes me want Starbucks! It must be in the air to hang out in your stamp room and not get anything stamped. I got things put away and organized after being home all week, a Christmas tree up and naked for two days, a bathroom painted and a Thanksgiving dinner cooked and eaten, but NO stamping, which is what I was really looking forward to. Did brave the stores Saturday and Sunday just to hang out and people watch and see what's what. I found this cute little new store in the Thornton area that screams Kimberly! It's called Charming Charlie's and they have the absolute cutest accessories I have ever seen. I thought of you. You should see if they have one out by you.
Anywhoo, keep up the cute projects, you inspire the rest of us to create!

  6. Oh Please post some of your ladies houses too. I'm always looking for cute ideas for these houses.

I did a gingerbread house and sprayed it with paint. Much easier than applying paper. LOL.

    Thanks!
