Oh so Sticky with Sticky Cuts!

Just finished another GREAT scrap club.  Love love love these ladies.  We had the giggles tonight.  Nothing new, just new giggles.  We had a few new ladies join us tonight and hopefully we didn’t scare them with our giggles.  ๐Ÿ™‚  We worked with a retiring set tongiht, Lifes a Breeze.  You may remember that I did a card with it recently.  Click HERE and you can view it!  Since Summer is officially around the corner I wanted to have Summer pages for tonight.  One of my favorite friends pulled out her Sticky Cuts the other day and I was totally inspired to wipe the dust off of mine and pull them out.  WOW what a fabulous product!  Tonight, I used them to make my Watermelon.  I had to chuckle after I made it because I thought it turned out so cute and REALLY looked like a watermelon.   Check it out!

This is super easy to make.  You need the Sticky Pages (Item # 114300) and they are only 6.95 and you get two per package and they are 12 x 12 in size.  So YOU can make tons of Watermelons! ๐Ÿ™‚  To make the watermelon, cut a piece of Sticky Page to approx. 5 x 5.  Run this through your Big Shot using the Clear Circle Bigz Die Cut ( #114533).  Cut this piece in half.  Using the Oval Scallop punch, punch out your "Bite" mark in the Sticky Page.  I adhered the Sticky Page Circle onto a Whisper White Scallop Circle Sizzix Die Cut.  Tip: The Clear Circle Die cut fits PERFECTLY onto the Scallop Circle Die Cut.  Love this!  Once I adhered the Sticky Page onto the Scallop, I used the Red glitter from the FIne Galaxy Stampin’ Glitter (# 114286) and poured it over the Sticky Page.  Take a fine soft paint brush to brush off the excess Red Glitter.  Next I used Black brads from the Vintage Brad collection and placed three into my sticky cut watermelon to make the seeds.  The last thing I added was the Glorious Green cardstock for the outline of the watermelon.  I made this using my Circle Scissor.  This is another GREAT product that I am loving the MORE I use it.

I hope you enjoyed this summer page!  Don’t forget to scrap all your summer memories!  Below you will find all the products that I used.

Have a fabulous week!
