Monday MDS Challenge- Photography

Holy Schmolly! The summer is quickly coming to an end and right now I want to put a big STOP to it.  It's been especially fast for our family with this move.  I don't want it to end!!

It became very real that summer was coming to a close when I was school shopping for the kids and everything on the shelves was for the Fall season.  Yikes.  In Florida Fall doesn't arrive until late October.  Yes, Yes, Yes!!

While I've been busy at the house painting my parents took the kids to the beach.  I was so jealous but so grateful the kids could get out and have a great time.  My mom knows to take pictuers and she captured some great photos of the kids enjoying the beach.

My Digital Studio

I loved scrapbooking these photos and I'm sure there will be many more beach photos to come.  I used my Global Search tool for much of this layout and typed in Summer to see what elements I coudl find to use for this layout.  It came in super handy and saved me a lot of time.

In house news…

We are moving right along.  Lots of painting going on still.  My uncle cut a new doorway going into the other half of my studio that looks fantastic.  Now looking at blinds, and other odds and ends for the house inbetween painting.

Today we bought a 150 gallon fish take to put in the house.  We are super excited as we will make this a Salt Water tank.  Anyone have one that would like to share insight? I would love to hear.

Kids start school today.  I am SO SO excited for them.  Pics to come!!

XOXOXOXO

  1. Glad things are coming along!  So happy for you.  Wish I was there beside you with a paint brush.  Ha!  I should be painting a few rooms here in my own house.  Need your energy!  Love the scrapbook layout of the kids.  Super duper cute.  Miss their little faces too.  Looking forward to the day I meet your mom.  And dad!  Haven't a clue about fish tanks so no help there.  MISS YOU!

  2. So enjoying hearing about your move and wish we lived in the U.S. just so we could live somewhere warm!  I'm a long-time reader of your blogs, and love your work, and your blog.  Can"t wait to hear more about your house,,,
