Here’s to You!

Last week I had my All Occasion card class and when I was searching for ideas I sifted through all of my beautiful swaps I had received from friends at convention.  I found this card from Anna Haase and I just loved the simplicity and the WOW POW that this card has. You know, that moment when you look at a card and you just go WHOA- and WOW!

I decided right away that this was the card I was going to use.  I went to gather my supplies and GO figure I was out of Comfort Cafe DSP.  Gasp! Literally one sheet left.  I was still going to use this card however I needed to change the DSP.  Since I live on the edge (meaning I only had days to get this together) I decided on using the International Bazaar DSP.  Here is my version of Anna's beautiful creation:

I decided to use only one piece of the DSP and instead used my Travel Journal Builder wheel to add an accent on the Summer Starfruit cardstock.  I love this wheel and I love the ENDLESS possibilities it has.  I also added a little Victoria Lace. I can't be without it for long.

Below you will find the products used for this card.  To add the Pacific Point to the birds wings I just used my Stampin' Write Marker.  Give your stamp a little huff after applying the marker and viola, you have a beautiful  multi-toned birdie.
