Fearless of Blendabilities?
Have you tried our new Alcohol Ink Markers- Stampin’ Blendabilities? If you haven’t yet I hope I can help subside any fear you have with them today.
Now don’t get too excited yet. I’m not showing anything EARTH shattering although I did a short dance when I completed this card due to excitement.
You might be asking yourself why do I WANT to use them??
Getting to Know Blendabilities
If you love to color then Blendabilities are going to rock your world. Each color comes with 3 shades of the color. It’s pretty simple to follow- Light, Medium & Dark.
Blendabilities are perfect for blending and shading Stampin’ Up! line art stamp sets.
What do you need to get started?
Whisper White cardstock is the perfect paper to get started with. Stampin’ Up! Whisper White cardstock is SUPER smooth and soaks up the ink from Blendabilities perfectly.
You will also want to use a Memento Black Ink Pad to stamp the line art. Once stamped you are ready to start coloring.
If you are new to using Blendabilities, today’s card will be perfect for you to start with.
I used the Life in the Forest stamp set to create this card. Once I stamped the trees and Raccoon I was ready to finish the rest of the card.
Now hold on to your pants….
Yes… I am going to SHOCK you….
I created a video.
WHOA!!
Today’s video will show you a fun trick using the Filter Paper and a beginner tip on using the Blendabilities.
Now that you have seen a QUICK and easy way of using Blendabilities… it might be time to dive into more tricks using them.
Bottom line- don’t be afraid and enjoy them. Because they are alcohol base, try coloring your Rhinestones, Pearls and even buttons.
