I’m Left Speechless!
If I’m speechless you know something is CRAZY awesome!!
I just got home today from the best 5 days with my mom and I’m still floating on a cloud from all the great things we did.
It’s not often (practically never) that my mom and I get to whisk away and be together. Many times her and I are bouncing schedules around just to have lunch. It’s just the reality of our busy lives. To spend 5 great days with her was a HUGE blessing and many memories were made. We laughed until we cried and overall had the BEST time.
We went to Disney for one day which is SO different when you go without kids. I loved watching parents around the 5 O’Clock hour. Their faces change from happy to “Please HELP me!” The kids are screaming from being overwhelmed. Mom and I sat and giggled. I can do this because I have been that parent. They say Disney is the happiest place on earth… Ummm… not for me. By the time the day ends at Disney with kids I’m ready to strangle everyone and they are ready to strangle me. Not the happiest place on earth to me.
I bet you are wondering why I’m speechless??
We all know this NEVER happens!
One of the fun reasons I went to Orlando was to be a part of the Stampcation event put on by my friend and demonstrator Linda Heller. This was a demonstrator event like I’ve never seen before. I’ve NEVER seen displays so well put together. I’ve been to plenty of demo events and while they are ALL amazing, this one takes the CAKE.
The theme of the weekend was The Beatles. Each display was themed around a Beatles song. HOLY COW! It was INCREDIBLE. Linda has a friend, Shantaie that helps her with the displays. The two of these gals together blew me away. Check out these amazing displays.
Any guesses what Beatles song this display was?
How about this theme? Look at the clouds!! The details… WOWSA!!
Here are a few more fun pictures from that day.
Can you believe all the details? These were all jaw dropping.
This was one of my favorites too….
Just gorgeous. Don’t you think???
Again, I’m speechless over the amazing displays. The demonstrations were amazing. I learned SO much!!
Here is one of my favorite pics of the event:
Watching my mom swap with other demonstrators was the highlight for me. It was her first REAL stamping event. Remember, the last one she sat in a bathtub dodging tornadoes all night. <sigh>
Now we are home. It’s great to see my little family and knowing I’m not traveling for a few months is even better. Now to catch up this week. All in all, I am one happy lady and SUPER glad I made this trip.
One last share….
This was my swap for the event. I love the new Many Merry Stars stamp set. This is from the new Holiday Supplement that you can check out HERE. Remember, these are only available while supplies last.
I love these colors together- Coastal Cabana, Sahara Sand and Soft Suede. Nice and crispy clean looking. Not sure how I managed to fit the greeting perfectly where I did, but I did. LOL.
Sequins… Can you get enough of them? I love them.
This is a wonderful stamp set to fit into the Star Framelits. You can see how I layered the Soft Suede star onto the card base using dimensionals. I used two of the stamps to get that look on that die cut star.
Do you love all of these samples. Truly, I was speechless!

I am so thrilled you had a good time, and it was truly truly such a joy meeting you! You are so sweet and talented beyond the Heavens girl! You and your Mom were so much fun, I can’t wait to bump into you again someday!
Love the displays and your beautiful card.
great display and your card is gorgeous
Shantaie, the feeling is mutual my friend. Sure hope our paths cross again. Meanwhile i am going to drool over your blog. 🙂 I am still speechless over the creativity at Stampcation. NEVER seen anything like it. You are amazeballs my friend. XOXO
That was an awesome event. So much work went into the creations and just amazing to look at each photo. And even better was time with your mom. My daughter and I attended CKC a few years ago and can relate to having time for just the two of you. Very special.
