Embellished Ornaments- Creation Station Hop!

Embellished Ornaments-Creation Station Hop!

I was going through my big stash of Holiday Catalog stamps today and noticed that my Embellished Ornaments stamp set was at the bottom of the lonely pile.  I’m surprised myself that I haven’t used this set more for a few reasons.  The ornaments are beautiful but the fonts in the greetings stand out even more to me.

I have good news….

Today’s Creation Station Blog Hop features Embellished Ornaments and Peaceful Pines.  I am confident you will be inspired along the route of this hop.  I’m even more excited as I’ve created 3 projects to inspire you today. That’s a Christmas miracle!

Embellished Ornaments

Embellished Ornaments, Creation Station Blog Hop, Stampin' Up!

I started off using very neutral colors.  Love the Crumb Cake, Whisper White and gold all mixed together.  The Winter Wonderland Designer Paper and Vellum Stack worked perfect for this project because the Vellum adds a soft touch and the Designer Paper adds an elegant touch with the gold.

I couldn’t help but add a little Tea Lace doily underneath the layers to give it more of a delicate feel.

Same design basically for this card below, just more stars and different greeting.  Elements are layered and then a quick stitch across the layers to keep them secure.

Embellished Ornaments Treat Box

Lastly, I wanted an elegant treat box that I could fill with chocolate to give to a special friend.  The Pillow Box die cut was the perfect box. This framelit is easy to work with and you can create many boxes in a quick amount of time.

You can see why I love the fonts in the greetings of this stamp set so much.  Very elegant and pretty stunning when you add Gold Embossing powder to it.

The Delicate Ornaments thinlits are just that… delicate. The fine detail makes this framelit an eye catcher.

  1. Beautiful work Kimberly! I absolutely love the crumb cake Noel! And the stitching! Eeeek! I can’t wait to get my sewing machine up and running again 🙂

  2. Gorgeous as always!! I love the stitching that you do on so many of your cards. What kind of sewing machine do you use? I want to try to incorporate this in my cards. Your cards always have the most beautiful final touches on them and I could only hope mine will turn out half as good!

  3. Difficult choice to make but I really love the box. It’s elegant! I know it’s too late for mentioning my Christmas tradition but we play board games with our kids and grandkids after dinner. Have a blessed Christmas, Kimberly.
