Color Challenge

Each week I've been posting a new color challenge for you to try.  I hope these help you if you find yourself in a creative slump.  I love this weeks colors because of the gray.  Gray is still very trendy and so beautiful on any project.  Here is this week's challenge.  I hope you will play along.  Leave a comment with a link to your card and share with everyone.

For this weeks color challenge I decided to use the Open Sleigh stamp set.  I love this set and every image in it.  I especially love the sleigh.  It's so elegant and reminds me of a real Santa's sleigh.  I've also created a video on making this card you can see below.

Tip: Did you know you can use our Stampin' Up! classic ink pads to emboss with? Watch my video and you can see how I used the Not Quite Navy Classic ink pad and Clear Embossing Powder to emboss the card above.  

 

Supplies Used: 

Stamps: Open Sleigh

Ink: Not Quite Navy, Basic Gray

Cardstock: Basic Gray, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Very Vanilla, Vellum

Accessories: Linen Thread, Vintage Faceted Buttons, Fancy Fan Textured Embossing Folder, 3/4" Circle punch, Curly Label punch, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, First Edition DSP, Silver Glimmer Paper

  1. Stunning card and great video! You never fail to make me laugh though…and I totally get the underwear thing.. My boy will never tell me when he’s running low. I think us moms are supposed to be clairvoyant!
