Holly Berry Happiness
Designing the perfect Christmas card can be quick and easy when you have the right choices.
Today I have a few ideas to help you choose the perfect stamp set when you create your Christmas cards.
How Many Will You Create?
When designing Christmas cards, the first question to ask is how many will I need?
Once the list of family and friends has been created the designing can begin.
By creating a list you can determine the amount of time needed to create the cards as well as the budget needed for the supplies.
Obviously, if the list is long, creating time will need to be shortened making it much easier to duplicate the card.
Today’s card definitely takes on a little more time, but can also be duplicated if you plan your time wisely. Mass producing cards can be simple and fun with a plan.
Planning Time
I’m not going to lie, I love to create heavily layered cards.
When doing so I simply make the cuts and punches necessary for the card and then tackle the project when time permits.
Since I’m a busy mom, I typically keep all of the supplies I need ready to go in a shoebox and grab the box on the go.
This makes it easy to create when I’m waiting on kids in car lines, or sitting at the gym waiting on my daughter.
If I plan accordingly, the process can be simplified and the result is completed card in plenty of time to send.
Stay Within Your Budget
The Holly Berry Happiness stamp set is a bundle that coordinates with the Holly Berry Builder Punch.
Punches can make a crafting project a simple process because of how easy they are to use.
Simply stamp, punch and assemble.
The Holly Berry Builder Punch creates the fun holly leaves and sweet bow.
This card has the added the pine needles from the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies to bring a little more greenery to the card.
Although the pine needles definitely add pizzaz to a card, the Holly Berry Builder Punch would make re-creating many cards easier.
Stampin’ Up! has a wide variety of bundles to choose from in the Holiday catalog. Bundled products offer options to budget your supplies when planning your Christmas cards.
