Big Reveal- The Scrapbook Crop!
If you could imagine me standing in front of you right now you would think that I had botox in my face from the frozen smile. Seriously, my smile has not dropped from my face since leaving the big crop this weekend.
It’s been so long since I had attended a scrapbook crop. Like ten YEARS. Yikes. That will not happen again, evah!
There is something to be said about getting together with fellow crafters. Smiles, laughing (more like high pitched giggling or belly laughing), eating, scrapping, crafting… It was AMAZING.
It took me forever to get packed up and ready to go. Being that I had not been to one in so long I didn’t want to forget something and I wanted it to be perfect. Of course I knew I would probably forget something and I also knew nothing goes perfect. Well, this actually was perfect. I met the kindest people. I have so many new friends. Now you see why I have a frozen smile. My cheeks hurt just telling you about this.
I loved going around seeing all the fun things that people bring to crops. Cricut cutting tools, Cameos, LOADS of paper, stamps, inks, embellishments. They are LOADED. Then they also have a system how it all goes together. They even bring shelves, lights, and drink holders. Boy, it’s been a long time since I had seen one of these in action.
My end went pretty smoothly. I had a blast with my make n takes. There is something always great when you hear the oooh’s and ahhh’s when they create with stamps, ink and paper. Of course I added a few fun punches and the oooh’s and ahhh’s did get louder. (maybe I coaxed them a bit to be loud, giggle!)
This was another fun make n take we created-
We used the stamp set For All Things and just kept layering the embellishments. I loved that the focal point of this card could be used on any project. You could adhere this to a scrapbook page, a candle, a centerpiece or napkin ring for Thanksgiving. I love the Autumn Wooden Elements. They were a perfect addition for this card.
You can see how we unraveled the Gold Twine so that beautiful gold piece was hanging. PLUS, we added a little bit of the Gold Sequin ribbon for a little more gold tone. Oh WOW do I love Gold accents.
The highlight was using the Hexagon punch for creating the “V” on the banner. I love that punch and 99% of the time I’m using it for my banners.

Here are a few pics from the weekend incase you didn’t see them on my Facebook Page. Truly a fantastic weekend and I look forward to many MORE. A huge thanks to Scraphappy for inviting me to come.
This was teaching my Gratitude Class:
This was a fun class along with my Halloween Wreath class. I’ll be offering the Halloween Class again locally. That wreath is adorable and really not hard to make at all.
It’s time for me to get busy and create. It’s been a big day with the dog as she had puppy school. She was the smartest doggie in class (okay, maybe not but I thought so!!) Stopped by and bought her a little treat, an Ice Cream cone.
Yes, I was rewarded with the best dog mama award.
