Decorate for Halloween!
We are about to embark on one of my favorite creative outlets- Halloween.
Halloween lets my mind go crazy in the imagination department. I can use fun bright colors or I can be dark and drab. It’s just a fun season to let loose and enjoy.
While I realize not everyone enjoys this particular season for their own reasons, I respect that. I love the skulls, the witches, ghosts, pumpkins and monsters because they are FUN. That’s it.
Stampin’ Up! always goes all out in the Halloween products. I always fall in love with the Designer Paper and stamp sets. This year is no exception.
Freaky Friends & Mingle All the Way
I don’t know about you but I have a few Freaky Friends I could send this too. I love the Mingle All the Way stamp set and how the fonts are perfect for creating Chalkboard Art. I stamped the Spooky Halloween using Whisper White Craft ink on Basic Black cardstock. If I had to do over again I would have embossed this with White Embossing powder. The greeting would have popped a bit more.
I added the Freaky Friends stamp set using the skeleton. Oh my word cuteness. He has a BIG head. *giggle*
The card itself is easy to put together.
I love how the textured embossed stars on the bottom of the Blackberry Bliss cardstock coordinates with the Designer Paper and the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper. I simply used the star punch and used the negative piece so the designer paper would shine through the stars.
Lastly, I added a few sequins. I can’t get enough of them.
Fry Box Die Cut
You could also use the Fry Box and create a quick treat box for school Halloween parties.
The Fry Box is the perfect die cut when looking to make a lot of treats and FAST. It’s simplicity is awesome. Two places to adhesive and BAM, you are done!
Do you love it??
Nothing over the top about this treat box. Simple and duplicatable. Once again I love how everything coordinates.
My only problem this year is no more Halloween class parties for my kids. Now that they are in middle school they don’t need the cute treats for a class. I guess I will be adopting an elementary child this year. LOL.
Frightful Wreath
If you really want to decorate for Halloween try our new Halloween Frightful Wreath.
It’s CUTE as can be and easy to put together. Their is a sweet beaded spider that you put together and it completes the wreath. There are several ways to put it together and the only tools you need are a glue gun and pliers for the spider.
You can see my wreath hanging in this picture below.
There are many great products to decorate for Halloween this year. It’s just a matter of researching what you want to create and putting it together. What is your favorite Halloween product in the Holiday Mini this year?
You can see all the products for these projects in the links below.
Remember to check out the Weekly Deals this week. The Hexagon Punch is on sale. I love this punch to punch the ends of my banners. It’s a perfect cut every time. There is also the 2″ Circle punch on sale. *I hate to admit this to you but I didn’t know we had a 2″ Circle Punch!*
Brand NEW in the store this week:
Have a GREAT day and make something pretty!
