Festival of Trees |Stampin’ Up!

Festival of Trees |Stampin’ Up!

Yes, it’s 6 am and I’m off to my big weekend crop.  I am moving at a turtles pace.  When you work for yourself 6 am is just a naughty time to be up and running.

I am very excited about this weekend however so getting up for the crop does put a little pep in my skip.

If  you follow me on Facebook you might have seen the nightmare picture of my hallway packed tightly with my entire stamp room.  News Flash… It’s been 10 years since I was a vendor at a crop and I totally forgot what the prep time looked like.  I am so afraid I am going to forget something that I think I packed it all.  I’ll start to not put something in the bag and think to myself, “this is the BEST tool ever.  They have to see this!”  Problem is I have said that about every tool, stamp and ink I own.

I almost need a U-Haul to get there.  Not only is this going to be CRAZY fun, I am going to have a REALLY clean stamp room when I get back home because unpacking is going to be a nightmare too.

SO the great news is I am doing 4 make n takes at this event.  I am so so so excited about this.

Of course, a few of the make n takes are not easy.  This is one of my downfalls.  I always want to keep dressing my card up.  I keep adding all the fun products.  I hope they enjoy it.

I’m excited to show you a sneak peek.  Don’t tell them I shared with you…..

Festival of Trees Stamp Set

Festival of Trees stamp set, Stampin' Up!
I just let out a BIG squeal.  This stamp and the matching products is WAY fun.  First, this set is a photopolymer making placement for Two-Step stamping EASY.  If you are unsure of Two-Step stamping, if you notice the tree image has little red berries? Those where stamped after I stamped the tree.  With photopolymer I was able to place those berries perfectly.

This stamp set also has a Tree Punch that fits the tree images PERFECTLY.  That means NO fussy cutting.

Are you smiling?? I love this.  Even BETTER…. There is a bundle & 15% savings when you purchase the stamp set and Tree punch together- #137640.

I love the little bird image and of course the star at the top.

You can see all the products used in the links below.

Okay, I’m off like a herd of Turtles… for REAL now.  I’ll be posting on my Facebook Fan page all weekend and sharing more of the make n takes.  You will see them here as well.

One last thing before I leave you…

Stamps in the Mail- Registration OPEN!

Stamps in the Mail Registration for Round 25 has started.  This is ALWAYS the biggest round because it’s the Holiday Edition.  I am using the stamp set White Christmas.  It’s going to be an AMAZING round.  I fixed the date on the information page.  I had confused many that the deadline had been met.  Registration does NOT end until Sunday, September 14th.  So hurry, register today.  Click HERE to see more information.

Have a SUPER duper Friday!!

P.S. My doggie now knows how to sit and stay.  Heaven help me with the “come” command.  She looks right at me and doesn’t budge.  Sigh.  This could be the tough one.  She is also getting healthy and is spoiled rotten.  <smile>

Have fun at the crop. My sister and I used to go to one out of town in my motor home and it was packed, just enough room for her and I and a narrow path to the bathroom!!

  3. Such a great card! Had to buy the bundle now! I hope you had a great time at the crop. Looking forward to hearing about it. Imagining it to be a completely different world. (I’ve never been to a crop…). Glad to hear your pup is getting healthy. 🙂
