Hello Fall |Stampin’ Up!

Isn’t there something great about Fall and all the beautiful changing colors? 

Here in Florida we are not as lucky to see the changing of the leaves.  Something I miss terribly in Virginia.  Each Fall the leaves were brilliant in color and really breathtaking.  It’s funny how those that are native to the area don’t notice it as much because they have been there so long.  The same is true for those of us that live near the beaches. We take them for granted.  

I do love the changing leaves and now I will have to get my fall leaves fix with paper.  Not so bad, really!!  

For All Things

This stamp set is AWESOME.  I am loving the “watercolor” effect.  

I did do a little fussy cutting but nothing to make you really fussy over.  I love the leaves cut this way as it makes the card appear a little 3 D.  

You will notice on the Whisper White cardstock I used the Zig Zag Textured Embossing folder just on the bottom.  By placing the greeting banner across it worked perfect to hide the edge.  

This card is very neutral but of course it can be spiced up a bit with more colors.  I used my Fall fav color, Cajun Craze.  It’s reminds me of terra cotta.  It’s gorgeous. 

The Spiral Border punch was just enough to add a little fun for the card.  

If you look really close you can see a little spritzer that I added.  It’s a gold tone using Alcohol and Gold Encore Ink.  Makes me SUPER happy seeing that sparkle.  

One last thing to note, the Autumn Wooden Elements are not only fun but they are pretty flat to touch.  I like this for mailing purposes.  

For many of you Fall is coming quickly.  I will live through you vicariously when the leaves change.

Now, let me tell you what’s going on in my stamp room.  Right now it looks like a bomb went off.  I’m a vendor at a crop this weekend and I’ve been busy as a bee getting make n takes ready, display stuff for my table, and classes prepped.  WOW.  You can barely walk in my room.  It’s awful.  It looks like someone has been creative so I shouldn’t complain.  I’m excited about this weekend and to meet new crafty friends.  Wish me luck.
