Banner Blessings | Stampin’ Up!

Banner Blessings | Stampin’ Up!

How often do you send a card to your church family and friends? I have to sadly admit that sending cards lately has been WAY off my radar.

Yes, I’ve been making them like a mad woman but they are sitting in a very cute box near my desk.  They are aching to be sent.  We all know this is not how it’s supposed to be.  The truth is there is no excuse.  I can’t even blame it on time.  We all know it takes time to make a card and less time to put an address and stamp on it.

I took this to heart this week and I’m sending cards.  I’ll be sending lots of them.  In fact, I have a list of different groups of people I’m sending them too.  From customer friends (they are all friends btw), church friends, family friends, best friends… you get the point.  It’s time to send some CARDS!

Banner Blessings stamp set, Stampin' Up!
I’m super excited to send out these cards using the Banner Blessing stamp set to all of my Bible Study participants.  We have ONE week left of this 9 week study.  These ladies are pretty BRAVE.  Taking time to do a bible study is never easy. I’m so thankful and grateful they have stuck with it.

Banner Blessings stamp set, Stampin' Up!
To create this card I used Stampin’ Up! notecards.  I love the size, 3 1/2 x 5.

I stamped the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set using Sahara Sand ink first.  Then I spritzed my doilies using two different inks.  Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding.  I added A LOT of re-inker.  I still have shimmer paint on hand so I also added that to my shimmer bottles to spray.  The doilies are torn randomly. I love how they look a little tattered.  Each card is different.

The greeting was stamped in Coastal Cabana or Strawberry Slush and then die cut using the Chalk Talk Framelit Dies.

The strip of DSP is from the Best Year Ever Sale-a-Bration paper and lastly a button was added from the Sweet Dreams Designer Buttons.

Banner Blessings stamp set, Stampin' Up!
Banner Blessings is a fantastic stamp set to use for quick notes like the ones above.  I encourage you today to look around your desk and find some cards to send out today.  Truly… it’s how we make a difference in the lives of others. It’s loving on someone through the mail.  What a GREAT way to make someone smile.

Housekeeping Issues….

No, we are NOT cleaning house… but I do have some important things you should know.

First, be aware that our Blendabilities are currently on backorder for an extended time period.  Stampin’ Up! recognized a quality issue.  While this is a BIG FAT BUMMER, I’m extremely grateful they are looking into these issues.  The big question is how long will this last? As of right now they are unsure but I will keep you posted as more news comes available.

I realize this is a bigger bummer for those looking to use them for Sale-a-Bration rewards.

I have another solution that might get you a bit excited.

Stampin’ Up! brought out 4 NEW Sale-a-Bration products.  They are OH SO CA-UTE!!  Check them out…

Oh, I can’t forget to share this with you…. It’s been awhile since my Prince picked up his darling daughter.  I mean PHYSICALLY picked her up.  Now, keep in mind I had to snap the picture QUICK so it’s not the best but kinda made me cry. First, he is using his RIGHT arm to hold her up.  That’s huge!  Second, if you look closely to his right bicep you can see a bit of muscle.  Russ and I kinda giggle over his itty bitty muscle but the reality is it’s getting bigger.  His hard work is showing.  We thank you for your continued prayers.  XOXO

… and the big girl in the picture just needs to STOP growing.  That is ALL.
Have a FATABULOUS day.

  1. Kimberly, when I designed this stamp set for the contest, I wanted it to be set that touched others! I’m so glad to see it being used. I think your bible study ladies will love it! I do! Still humbling to see my design in use, but it’s all for the glory of God!

Blessings to you! Love the card!

Ps, what 9wk study are you finishing?

  2. I love that you are sending out cards my friend. Your creativity needs to be share with those that lack the creative gene. Heck it should be shared with those that have some creativity too! lol For Lent this year I am sending 40 cards in 40 days and it is a struggle. Not sure why something that is so easy seems difficult. The wonderful thing about this is the feedback you get from the recipients. They are so appreciative. Share the love sistah!!

  3. Beautiful cards. WOW, Russ looks awesome, that is amazing. Your daughter is getting so big and grown up. 🙂

  4. Holly, your set is the perfect set to lift anyone’s spirits. It’s also nice to have a scripture based stamp set. It’s perfect for my bible study ladies. What a blessing YOU are for creating it and absolutely all the glory to God.

I’m teaching a Beth Moore study, Children of the Day. It’s a study of 1 & 2 Thessalonians. It’s been amazing. It’s aligned perfectly with many things that I’m struggling with today. I love the energy Beth has and her love of Jesus. 🙂

PS. I think you should design a few more stamps…. wink wink.
