You’re So Lovely-Quick & Easy

You’re So Lovely-Quick & Easy

Lovely is the first word I said after creating today’s card.  It’s striking, yet lovely because it was definitely quick and easy.

Sometimes I can apply tons of layers and elements to a card and that word “lovely” always pops into my mind.  It’s when I can create a quick and easy card that I struggle with the lovely.

I am sure it’s because I’m a creature of habit, so the more layers and elements I add increases my “lovely” ticker.

But that’s not always the case, nor should it be.

Sometimes time is the relative factor that keeps me from adding and adding another piece of cardstock or element.

Sometimes it’s the mood I’m in.

Today, it was the stamp set that led me to this quick and easy card.

Lovely, You're So Lovely, Stampin' Up!

I love the You’re So Lovely Project Kit and the stamp set that goes along with it has been neglected.  I pulled it out last night and before you know it I had a card created in less than 10 minutes.

Now that is LOVELY!

The colors couldn’t be more happy and spring.  It was the perfect combination of many things.  Perfect for the recipients that will receive it as well.

Tips & Tricks

To create this card you will only need a few products.

  • I stamped the circle image 4 times offsetting each one using Pear Pizzaz ink.
  • The tiny flowers come from the Tree Builder punch (this is my new favorite punch!!) The tiny flowers are perfection and WHY WHY WHY am I just now figuring this out???
  • The main piece of Whisper White cardstock measures 3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″.  The card base is Whisper White Thick cardstock 4-1/4 x 11.  The small piece of Schoolhouse  Designer paper that you see measures 2 x 5-1/2″.  Another fav for me.

You can see all of the supplies I used for this card in the clickable links below.

I’m leaving on a jet plane EARLY in the morning headed for Salt Lake City for a Stampin’ Up! conference.  I’m always excited to see my girlfriends, my team and just be in the lovely state of Utah.  I might be a bit quiet this week because I can never work ahead, and I talk to much when I’m away to finally sit down to blog.  BUT… I’m going to try and keep you posted on the fun things I see. I am looking forward to seeing my bestie.  This always fills my cup.
XOXOXO
