One of the things I'm pretty excited about in the Holiday Mini is the Tulle ribbon release. It's so pretty and it even has a scallop edge to it. It comes in three beautiful colors, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso. Isn't that fantastic??
Here is a card made using the Tulle:
This card is just S-H-A-B-B-Y! I started this card using the From My Heart (#126557) stamp set that's new this catalog year. Fantastic stamp set and coordinates with our Labels Collection Framelits Dies found on page 191. I stamped this at the top using Soft Suede ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. I also used the new Jumbo Wheel from the Mini catalog Etruscan Elegance and embossed this across the Crumb Cake cardstock using the NEW Espresso Embossing Powder. Oh golly that's exciting. This was matted onto a piece of Fan Fair DSP. Then I just wrapped that Tulle around to suit my fancy and tied in a bow. Viola. Simple card but really shabby chic. Oh, one last thing. In the new catalog you will find the coolest little spritzers. Two come in a package. You can find them on page 179. Add a little 90% Rubbing Alcohol with a little Shimmer paint and a reinker of your choice and POW you have a really fun shimmered project. You can see a little pink shimmer at the top of my card. I added the new Raspberry Ripple to my White Shimmer Paint and the mix was just a nice sweet pink. I also squirted a little of my Spritzer Tool on it using a Crumb Cake marker. It's a gotta have type of tool.
Here is the list of goodies I used:
Stamps: From My Heat
Ink: Soft Suede, VersaMark
Cardstock: Crumb Cake
Accessories: Etruscan Elegance Wheel, Espresso Embossing Powder, Spritzer Tool, Crumb Cake marker, Spritzer bottles, Fan Fair DSP, Pearls, Tulle Ribbon (Crumb Cake), Vintage Trinkets, Natural Buttons
You can find these awesome products in my Online Store. Remember, Holiday Mini products are available on August 1st.
Have a FANTABULOUS day.
XOXOXO
