Something for Baby-Stampin’ Up!
Anyone having a baby? I feel the need to create lots of baby cards with this adorable new stamp set Something for Baby!
It’s been FOREVER since I made a baby card and the images in this set are not just for baby. You will want to take a peek at my Facebook Fan Page today and see what I created for Father’s Day using this set.
The first image I fell in love with was the baby buggy. Love the vintage look of it. The best part of this little buggy…. I didn’t have to cut it out. YEAH HOO! It has a matching framelit. Yes, go ahead and do a few cartwheels. Nothing is better than a time saving framelit using your Big Shot.
The jest of this card is pretty simple using a color combination of Whisper White, Hello Honey, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Soft Sky. It probably screams baby boy more than girl, but a simple change of colors to a soft pink such as Pink Pirouette and BAM… you have a baby girl card.
I used two other stamp sets to create this card. I loved the greeting “Sweet Baby” from Baby, We’ve Grown and Work of Art for the chevron on the Smoky Slate cardstock. You can see all the links of products used at the bottom of this post.
In other baby news… my baby teenager is still feeling awful. The Dr. visit yesterday only consisted of a throat culture for strep and continue watching him. He continues to run a very high fever and looks MISERABLE. He is so sad that his last week of school was spent at home. They had all kinds of fun stuff planned for the last week. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I hear something on the throat culture today. His throat looks HORRIFIC. If you would, keep the baby teenager in your prayers. Brandon would sure appreciate it.
Have an amazing WEEKEND. Create with joy. Cultivate inspiration for others and most of all feed your soul with your creativity.
XOXOXO

Love the fresh new baby items in the new catalog and your twist on them. Hope your baby teen gets better real soon.
Your card is adorable…and if the parents do not know the sex of the baby, this is perfect….covers the unknown! Love that you added the doily! So sorry that Brandon is still not feeling well at all….how sad that he missed the last week of school but he will have the full summer to so many other things!!!!!! Sorry that it is interrupting your family right now….yes, of course best healing prayers and thoughts for him….and for you Nurse Mom! Take good care!
