With as busy as life has been the past month, I needed a FAST simple card! Something that would say WOW, but really had no layers. I know you probably just fell out of your chair to actually believe a card exists without a layer! ACK! Typically I would admit to saying, no layers = UGLY! Okay, not so much on this card and I have proven to myself that not every card needs a layer. Check it out!
Not ONE layer! Holy Cow! Hopefully you have not fully noticed that the stamping is not so straight! Seriously… needed fast!
I used the Friends 24/7 stamp set and stamped across the card using Rose Red Craft ink onto Kraft cardstock. I love this stamp set. Then I stamped the sentiment just below. The sentiment is from Well Scripted from the Mini Occasions catalog. I tied a piece of hemp around the card and tied a button from the Fresh Favorites buttons. THAT's IT! Phew! Fast, simple and in my eyes… not bad.
So here is the challenge…I want to see what YOU can do! Make a card using no layers. Post a comment with a link to your creation. I will choose a random winner this Sunday (March 20th) Midnight MT and I'll send the winner a fun card using LOTS of layers!
I can't wait to see what you come up with. Enjoy your weekend. I will be playing in snow. So happy! NOT!

What a wonderfully simple card! We're the only ones that ever notice when they're crooked, right? LOL! Kimberly, thanks for always leaving me such sweet, positive comments. I really appreciate it.
Big hugs,
Brandi
A simply simple challenge. Yes indeed and I like it very much. So here's my take on the simple with no layer. I do admit it's hard to do a no layer card. I hope you like it.

A Simply Simple Challenge.. WOW… that was hard to do. But I did it. When I was done with my card, I must admit that layers are not really needed to make the card. I added a little Dazzling Diamonds and presto I got sparkle. Thanks Kimberly for the challenge. I need to get out and do something different every once in a while. You can see my card on my blog. Thanks and I hope you like it.

Here is my one layer card using the Medallion stamp and the baby wipe technique. Hope you like it. It has dazzling diamonds accents and two SU brades in the center.
Here's mine Kimberly. Looking forward to seeing you in a few short weeks.
