Seaside with Stampin’ Up!

Edited: 945pm- I'm not sure why the videos are not showing up here today.  This post has given me trouble all day. Very unusual.  You can view today's videos for the Whale Card and Dress Forms on my YouTube Channel HERE.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

With a blog title of "Stampin by the Sea" I have to make a few "seaside" cards? Right? The Oh Whale! Collection of stamps, wheels and a Clearlits die is a perfect way to make fun Valentines Cards.  Not so fast though!  This happy whale has more to it than meets the eye.

Great set that you can get a lot of bang for YOUR buck!

You can watch the video below and see how I made this  card using a few Tea Doilies.

You can find all these great products in my Online Store!

Check at the bottom of the post to view products used for this card as well in the video.

I have another fun card to share.

Do you remember back when I shared a card and video on using the Gesso over Designer Series Paper?

This card is done the same way using Gesso over the Tea for Two DSP.

You can see the original post with the video HERE.  It's a fun technique and easy.

I then used Soft Suede and Marina Mist ink with the stamped images directly to the DSP.

*TIP: Just remember to give the Gesso plenty of time to dry.

*When you stamp onto the Gesso let the stamp images dry completely.

*You may want to tap a little heat using your heat tool to speed up the process.

Check bottom of the post to view the products I used on this card and shop!

  1. WOW my friend, you have been busy. That whale card is adorable, love the waves, the friend card is pretty, the use of the gesso is interesting and love the lace.  I absolutely adore those dresses. They are all so gorgeous. I'm going to have to try that out.
