Ridiculously Amazing
That’s been my life over the last week- Ridiculously Amazing!
I had a serious change in plans from Tuesday-Friday that normally would have rocked my world a different way but this brought me joy.
Our church was holding VBS last week and I had not signed up to be a helper because at the time Russ was not driving and I wasn’t sure what the schedule would be with him. As time got closer to VBS and Russ did start driving I told our Pastor’s wife that if she needed anything to call me.
The call came on Monday night when one of our church family had an illness in the family. I was needed to be a crew member. 6 kids in my hands, Oh my!
All I can say is it was one of the best weeks I’ve had in a long time. Watching kids worship and learn about Jesus was ridiculously amazing. More so was getting to know the 6 kids I had with me. All from different walks of life. One particular little boy stole my heart on day one. He was velcro to my leg and the kindest 6 year old I’d ever met. I don’t know his personal background but from what I could tell not everyday was ridiculously amazing. This week for him, it was.
After my days with VBS I typically found myself on my couch napping from the crazy dancing I had done, and just being flat WORN out. I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. It was the highlight of my summer.
So not only do I tell you this but I have a card to share that is all about being Ridiculously Amazing. Today, that’s what I want you to think about. Life is short. How can you make today Ridiculously Amazing? Even when your day isn’t going your way find something that will make it Ridiculously Amazing. The fact that Jesus loves me is pretty Ridiculously Amazing if I must say so.
This fun card was created with my club members this past week. It’s a new club that I’m also ridiculously excited about. I had so much fun and my cheeks hurt from smiling. One of the great things about the Amazing Birthday stamp set is it does not have to be just BIRTHDAY related. As you can see, I want you to have a ridiculously amazing day.
You can see all the supplies below that I used on this card.
This next week is going to be ridiculously amazing too!! I leave for Salt Lake City tomorrow for the annual Stampin’ Up! convention. I am so so so excited to be with my stamping friends and family. It’s a time of year I look so forward too. I’ll be posting the highlights and most importantly the display boards. If you want to see what’s happening FAST, make sure you are a fan of my Facebook Page. I will be updating that constantly with news, what I’m up to and of course all kinds of pretties.
Time to pack….
Have a RIDICULOUSLY amazing day.

Thank you Carol. Truly an amazing week. Now for another. I’m packed and ready to go. The clock is ticking and my alarm is going to go off REALLY early. 🙂
What a beautiful story! I miss teaching/helping with VBS. My kids are all grown up and I am at work now during that time. It was so rewarding. Have a great time at convention and can’t wait to see what you will share with us!
