Time for the Prince to HIJACK this blog!
To use her title, not mine, of Prince I would like to say a few words. Kimberly is the luckiest woman alive (and I the luckiest man) to have all this support flowing from all of you. We have enjoyed sharing posts of small insights into our lives and sharing her love of stamping and creating. She reads me many of the return comments and it warms my heart hearing how many of you will be keeping me in your hearts and prayers. What we in the military do is not often understood, but just know that we are trying to make the world a better place. I feel blessed by the kind wishes and thoughts that are flowing from each of you and I would like you to know I appreciate every one of you. SU is such a wonderful company with a culture of sharing what you love. I want you to know I am glad we have been brought together and that Kimberly can share a bit of our laughs, troubles, and love with all of you.
I am sure my Queen will continue to provide insights into the business and crazy life of the Van Diepens. Thank you everyone!
Russ- aka the "Prince"

Russ, God Bless You and your whole family. Your words warmed my heart tonight and I'm so proud of you and your family for sharing with us a part of your life and the sacrifice of your presence that I'm sure they will greatly feel.
God Speed to you and may you be safe and healthy until you are home again.

Dear Russ, Thanks for your service and your help in keeping our country free and safe. I hope this time goes by super fast so you can get home to Kimberly and those sweet children of yours. Although I am 4 hours away, I am here if Kimberly needs me and even if she doesn't , I am planning a trip up there to hang with her. I think we SU gals can keep her pretty busy. Be on the look out for a card or two. (Imagine that!) Go kick some butt!!!!
Thank you for what you do, Russ. I live down the street and will be keeping an eye on Kimberly, too. My prayers will go with you and be with Kimberly and the kids.

Dear Prince,
I was raised in the army-(born in an army hospital, and never in one place longer than 2 years) so I really Thank you for your sacrifice!! Not only for your family, but for everyone who calls the USA home. They is a saying.."the rain comes down, as the prayers go up!". Remember that and smile each time it rains, knowing your covered in prayer (even when its not raining!)
Men and women are not made the same( Men with more logic, woman with more emotions..PERFECT BALANCE! Actions speak louder than words, you showed today (by hijacking the blog…lol) why Kimberly can truely call you "Prince"!
Good luck, God's speed, be safe, and come home soon!
God Bless you and may you be home soon! Thank you for your service….

A little blurry-eyed here too in Australia. The love we read on this blog is both heartwarming and truly inspiring. We are blessed to "know" you all through Kimberly's crafting – thank you for that. God speed.
Sherylee.

To the entire Van Diepen Family… I am so very proud to be American and I cherish my opportunity to live in this GREAT Land of the FREE because families like yours, make HUGE sacrifices for families like mine.
May the Love and Guiding Hand of God, embrace and protect you all until you are reunited once again.
Praying that God will wrap his arms around you and your family and keep you all safe. Thank you for your service so that we and others can have freedom! And, Kimberly, thank you for your support of Russ so that he can go and do what's needed, knowing that you are in control of things at home. My husband came from a military family and the stories he's told of life in the military (things have changed a bit since then)! I've enjoyed keeping up with the blog, not only for Kimberly's inspiration but for an insight into your family and the love you all have for each other. God bless.
Thank you for your service! Thank you Kimberly for sharing your life and talents with us. I wish you all safety and Godspeed until you are reunited again. Life is hard but it's worth it. Take care and God bless!
I haven't stopped by in a few weeks, but knew the vacation was just around the corner. So I personally want to "Thank You" (aka Russ) for all that you've done and continue to do to keep all of us here in the "US" safe!!! The sacrifices I'm sure have been many, but so appreciated. Long ago I was also a Navy wife, so I can relate. We'll try to keep Kim busy while you are gone on vacation. God Bless you and your wonderful Family !!! Kim, I hope that I can actually meet you in person this year at Convention! You all are an amazing family !!
To Russ: Fair Winds and Following Seas
To the Family: Your job is the hardest; the family life of a sailor is not an easy one. But please know, the service Russ provide is deeply appreciated by all of us who call America home. You are all part of the gift of freedom. A gift so many of us take for granted.
God Bless you all… Carri
You and your family will be in my thoughts during this hard time away. Please know that there are alot of grateful people in this country. We THANK YOU for your service and your courage.
I have been watching the shows "Coming Home" on Sunday nights on Lifetime. If you haven't seen them, tune in. They are stories of our service men and women and the ways they reunite with their families. I sit there, the whole hour, with a box of tissues in my lap. They are good tears but I still think of how hard it is for you all to sacrafice days, months, years away from your loved ones,
God Bless you – Russ and to Kim and the kids, you are in my heart!!
Hello Russ,
Thank you for your note to us, it really shows what an incredible and supportive husband you are… my husband was in the NAVY just like you, he served during Desert Storm and Desert Shield and I remember as if it was today, how much I hated that he was there but all along understood why he was there. As I read your posting, those memories came back as if it was today, I thank you for your service and pray that the time appart from your family goes by quickly. Many blessings to you and the guys that will be serving along you and to Kimberly and children that will be "serving" with you at home.
All my best, Lorena
Though you may have already taken off, it has been my pleasure to get to know you and your family over the last year or so that I've been following Kimberly's blog…it's wonderful when bloggers whare thier lives – as we would do if we actually really knew the person…it brings our world so much closer! We will do our best to continue to support all of you – and continue to send best wishes and prayers your way – actually to all of the armed forces all over the world…we can never thank you all enough! Hugs to you all!
Oh, I love it!!! We love hearing all the stories about your family and seeing the photos. We wish you a safe and quick return back home to your Queen and know that we are all praying for you. Here's to a fabulous family!!!
