Do you love a good challenge? Today's Blog Hop is a GREAT challenge and I hope you will play along. I absolutely LOVE a good challenge and boy did Rochelle give me one this week. You can look back at many of my layouts and I typically like 1-3 photos max. When this sketch popped up I thought WHOA! What in the world will I do? I got busy, that's what I did!!
You know me, I like to kill two birdies with one stone and I'm working on my Christmas Daily Album so I thought I'd put the TWO challenges together. Boy did it EVER work out and I'm pretty excited. The sketch has 8 photos and this was perfect to showcase my families favorite ornaments. I shot all the pics using my iPhone which made this layout even easier.
Here are a few tips:
I started this layout by creating the base and then adding the photos as shown in the Sketch below. I did make my photos a little larger than the sketch. Once the base was created it was a matter of finding the right DSP, Stamps and Embellishments to coordinate. I used my global search tool and searched anything related to Christmas to see what I could work with. I like using this tool as many times I forget what digital downloads I own. Once I found the digital elements I wanted to use I used my Re-color tool where needed to keep the colors coordinated. The re-color tool is becoming one of my favorite to use.
You can see all the digital elements I used for this layout HERE!
Are you ready to challenge yourself? Are you working on a Christmas Daily Album? Leave a link in the comments so I can hop over and sneak a peek! I would *love* to see what you do with this sketch!
Here's the skinny Sketch!
Let's see what the other Digital Designers have up their sleeves. I *love* to see someone else's take on something.
