Hey crafty friends! As strange as it sounds along with the amount of writing that has occurred over the last five years, I have missed blogging and sharing my papercrafting. Some days I feel like a kid in a candy store as I explore all the latest and greatest products on the market. I find myself immersed in all things crafty trying to understand the new tools and trends. Often, it boils down to the most simple products; paper, ink and stamps.
As I find my way back into the blogging world, please know I had to put my training wheels back on as I try to navigate so many new things. I know in time it will be smooth sailing. For now, things feel a bit clunky and awkward. Totally normal, right?
I’m hopeful you will hang on, let me work out the kinks and soon enough I’ll have it somewhat figured out. Change can be difficult. It’s a mixture of pain, uncertainty, and work, but it equals progress. I’m getting there.

I’m always drawn to the beauty scenes and have enjoyed creating many summer cards using the cutest of images.
Today I’m sharing a beautiful set, Scenic Lighthouses and the Scenic Lighthouses Dies from Catherine Pooler Designs. There are three lighthouses with different two-step images along with the ability to color using your favorite coloring medium. I love choices, and these lighthouses are gorgeous!
In addition, I used some Hero Arts Paste (LOVE IT) on the bottom of the card to create a foamy beach scene. Not sure if I accomplished the goal, but it sure looks great and I love the addition of texture. I also used the Color Layering Cloud Stencil to create the background.
Oh how I love this beautiful cloudy look using my blending brushes!
All inks are from Catherine Pooler Designs. The last addition was a bit of splatter using some white paint.

Oh my goodness! I have not gotten on my Feedly app for months and months, and today for some reason I got on and was just going through all of the feeds I had missed the last 30 days. (That’s as far as it goes back.) Imagine my surprise when I see your blog post with new content! I couldn’t believe my eyes.
No joke, I remember your blog so well and have always loved your style! So happy you’re back, and now I guess I need to keep checking my Feedly app! You will figure it out. You’ll be just as great, and probably even better than ever! My best to you! Also, it was wonderful to get a quick catch up with what you have been doing lately.??
