If you were to walk into my stamp room you would quickly notice my love for ribbon. Besides buttons, ribbon is always my go to embellishment.
There are so many ways you can use ribbon on your projects. Here are a few of the ways I love to use ribbon:
- Stitching a quick straight or zig zag stitch across the ribbon onto a card. You will see my stitches are never straight.
- I love adding a small piece of the Victoria Crochet Trim to pennants. You can see below that I added a very small piece of the Crochet Trim to the pennant. I used a glue gun to adhere the Crochet Trim to the wooden dowel for the pennant.
- Stampin' Up!'s new Burlap ribbon is perfect to add layers of ribbon. You could stitch the layers of ribbon or use a glue gun to adhere directly to the burlap.
Along with ribbon I love creating pennants using small wooden dowels or toothpicks. I created this pennant with old music sheets I found at an Antique Store.

Convention News…..
It's day 2 here in Salt Lake City and so far it's been incredible.
There is nothing better than spending time with your best friends.
Today we had a tea party at Dear Lizzies. It's one of my favorite places to visit when I'm here in SLC. My friends Donna and Tami were able to book a tea party there today. We were so excited and we had a BLAST. Best day ever!
I'll be back tomorrow to share more fun.
XOXOXO
