I’m a Little Excited!

Seriously, I am a little excited and this excitement brought me back to my early days of being a brand new Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. If your a demonstrator you will understand my excitement.  As you have seen here lately I've been gung-ho My Digital Studio.  Let me tell you that I've had the program since DAY ONE and it sat on my computer FOREVER.  I've watched tons of people get crazy with it and do amazing things but I was scared to death of it.  Not lyin'. Kinda like my first workshop back in the day.  I was scared to death to show someone how to stamp and what I did show them was hideous.  The first thing I ever made in My Digital Studio was not pretty either however I was pretty excited about my creation because it was mine.  <smile>  All that being scardy cat was silliness.  Today was so exciting because I held my first My Digital Studio class.  I'm guessing many of you like my class participants had the program but they had done nothing with it.  They were just as scared but eager to do something with it. I am so excited because the class was very basic but at the end I know they walked away with more knowledge of the program.  They are going home to create something fun and beautiful with their program.  Isn't that exciting? I'm excited for myself because I broke the MDS barrier of being scared to teach it.  My advice is to dive into the program and play, play, play because you can't hurt anything and it's so fun to see the results.

During December I created my favorite scrapbook of all time.  It was a 100 page album for Russ about what we did during his Iraq deployment.  This is my favorite scrapbook because it tells a VERY big story. It tells the good, the bad and they very ugly.  Every page has journaling.  Truth be told most of my traditional scrapbooks have VERY little journaling because I was lazy and a procrastinator. I'm not afraid to call myself out.  It's the truth.  My scrapbook for Russ has TONS of journaling because the book had to go to print and I needed to tell the story. LOL.  I will share this book soon.  I just have to click the shutter on the camera. 🙂

So, if you are new to My Digital Studio I encourage you to look at the FREE Trail and just play.  You get it free for 30 days. What do you have to lose? You could also become a demonstrator and get this in your kit.  Uh-huh! Would love to have you be a part of my team.  We are pretty fun girls to hang with and again you have NOTHING to lose.  You can check out the program HERE. You can see how cool it is to be a demonstrator HERE

Let me share a few fun things!

First a card.  You know I still cannot live without touching paper, paper, paper.

I've had quite a few baby invite requests over the last couple of weeks.  With back to back sickies I haven't been able to get to them as fast as I wanted.  This card is a fast card if you are looking to make many duplicates.  The You're Invited is a retired stamp set that I keep on hand.  We do have a few in the catalog that are just as cute that you can use.

Lastly, I have an My Digital Studio page.

A few of the downloads I used for this layout include:

Everything Easter Scallop Circle
Rhinestones
Itty Bitty punches
Walk in the Park 11
Flag Punch

Downtown Grunge Frame

Rounded Corner Punch

I hope your Thursday is FANTASTIC. Create something fun and enjoy the time you get to create.  It's great for the soul.
