I am a DORK again… & a card!

Business first!  I am such a dork and totally embarrassed!  Tonight my girlfriend and I were in our stampin’ groove when I told her I needed help with a computer thing.  This is nothing unusal because typically I am just not a smarty pants when it comes to electronics.  So she was helping me and she needed me to check my Outlook email account.  This is an email address I rarely (like 6 months ago) check.  When I opened the email I almost fainted when I saw tons of emails from many of my readers here.  Many were just simple questions and what was heartbreaking was the many, many emails in reference to my Dad.  Seriously, I wanted to cry!  Please know I was not ignoring you.  I had no idea as I check my regular email mkkimber@yahoo.com 40x a day.  Ladies, I am beside myself!  So, I apologize if you have felt unappreciated by me.  I love each of you that takes the time to read my silly self here. I have read every one of the emails and over the next few days I am going to try hard to answer them.   Some of them are back in December.  <hanging my head low>  I get so busy here teaching and creating that I just never checked that account and didn’t know that anyone had that email address.  I guess if you email me from an RSS feed like Feedburner that is the email address it takes you to.  I will check that account daily now.

Anyways, onto the creation of the evening. I had a laughing good time tonight with a few girlfriends in my stamp room.  I was playing with lots of new toys and trying to make samples for the later part of the month to share on my blog.  Let me just say you are going to LOVE the new catalog and all the beautiful new sets and colors to work with.  Look for loads of sneak peeks soon!  I’m holding out, I know.

Now a card to share!  My sweet little ones have a birthday party tomorrow and of course we needed a girly card for the birthday girl.  I’m still going through my retired stash to stamp with.  Just want to make sure you get all YOU need from the current catalog!

I used my Cupcake Sizzlet tonight and it’s super cute.  The stamp set is Time to Party.  A cute little stamp set that makes any birthday card quick and simple.  I also used my Go Go Boots Sizzlet Alphabet to diecut a #8 for how old the birthday girl is.  I think it made it a little more personal.  The last little touch was Dazzling Diamonds.  Who in the world doesn’t like glitter???  Okay, I know there are a few of you out there, but seriously?  Love how something so tiny and sparkly can make any creation just pop-a-roo!

Materials listed below!  Have a super weekend.  I will have a new class to go added over the weekend.  This one could knock your socks off.  🙂
