How Can We Send Gratitude?

This should be an easy question, right? After all we ARE paper crafters. I ask this question because over on Facebook I'm seeing Gratitude posts daily that are very inspiring and quite thought provoking.  I love reading these posts because it makes me STOP and think what I'm grateful for each day.  Sure, I know in my little head that I'm grateful for so many things. BUT… I'm a busy mom and sometimes I don't GIVE that second to myself to stop and think about what I'm grateful for.  Of course today I had a few minutes to *think* as I waited for my family to update me on my mom's angiogram procedure (doing well and now has a new stent in place).

Here are my thoughts….Wouldn't it be great to send a card to the people we are so grateful to have in our lives? We know first hand that getting a card in the mail is a beautiful thing.  I received a card from my upline early this week and it brought an immediate smile to my face.  Don't get me wrong, I send cards all the time.  I write in them and tell people I am thankful for _____! Many times Facebook has taken the place of sending those cards and I just feel like I need to focus a week on my gratitude for my friendships and family.

Here's my challenge- I know you are busy, but choose a week this month and mail your Gratitude cards each day for a week. Bring a smile to someones face and let them see it in writing.

I'm going to start my gratitude cards right here in the house first.  The kids have been doing an outstanding job at school. We continually tell them how proud we are but I'm going to tuck these into their backpacks just so they can see it in writing. My kids are so funny when I make them cards.  They keep every single one of them.  It makes my heart happy.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Blue Ribbon, Family Reunion

Ink: Basic Black Craft, Real Red, Old Olive

Cardstock: Naturals Vanilla, Old Olive, Basic Black

Accessories: Clear EP, Polka Dot Parade DSP, Storytime DSP, 1 3/8 Circle punch, Scallop punch, dimensionals

I can't wait to hear if you are up for the challenge.

Make today a GREAT day!

XOXOXO
