Feathers have been all the rage lately. If you were to do a search on Pinterest for feathers, you will see beautiful projects made using feathers.
During our last mini catalog I fell in love with the Boutique Boxes Designer Kit that was laced with beautiful feathers for projects.
On Tuesday, Stampin' Up! released new digital art with feathers and the stamp brushes are SVG's. If you heard a loud squeal, it was me. Click the photo to learn more about these beautiful feathers.
Since the feathers are in SVG format this means my Silhouette Cameo can cut the feathers and you can use them on any of your projects. That is exactly what I did for this card.
I exported the SVG from My Digital Studio and imported into my Silhouette Cameo.
You can see how to export and import using My Digital Studio by watching this video below.
The rest of this card came together pretty quickly. I pulled out my antique music note paper and did a little stitching across the music notes, doily and that beautiful Burlap ribbon coming out August 1st.
The one thing to note on this card if you were to look REAL close, it has some crooked features. I could lie and tell you it was all on purpose but the truth is it was all a mistake and it turns out I love it.
Do you ever do that? You know, make a mistake on your project and then the result is you LOVE it? I think it shows that crafting is not perfect. It's about loving what we create and the passion that goes into it.
Below you can see the supplies I used along with a few important announcements.
