Honeycomb Hello- Stampin’ Up!
Today I took a little hiatus from Christmas crafting and jumped into a pile of stamps that haven’t seen any love in a long time.
I needed to feel a bit of Spring. Almost like getting a little fresh air. I felt snowed in. Ha ha ha.
I have a ton of stamps sitting and waiting to be used and I’ve been heavily concentrated on all things holidays.
I also have a stack of designer series paper that needed some love too. Beautiful papers just screaming to be USED.
Honeycomb Hello
Honeycomb Hello is a series of tiny images that are just cute as a bug. Well.. a bee. How cute is that tiny bee?
I love that I had designer paper to match- English Gardens.
I really got in my groove and made a few more than I normally do. I used different patterns of the paper for each of the cards.
I love that stamped images brings the focus to that one little die cut label. Adding the Tea Lace Doily made it frilly which in turn made me happy.
Tip: On Page 151 at the top of the Idea Book & Catalog you will see a Tag a Bag Accessories. Inside this kit are smaller doilies. They are perfect for this little card as I could keep to my “small” theme and they wrapped around the label perfectly. This kit is $8 and worth every penny.
The English Garden Designer Series Paper has a beautiful watercolor look and lots of beautiful colors to coordinate with.
It was good to take a Christmas crafting break today so I could take in a little early Spring action. I know we have barely started Winter and here I’m ready to just skip on over it.
I’ll be back tomorrow with another crafty Christmas card. Meanwhile I am going to bask a bit more in my Spring sunshine and bees.
