Happy Friday

I don't know about you but I'm glad Friday is HERE! I wanted to share a few photos that made me really happy this week.  It's been a BUSY week in our house.

The quick highlights…

1. Beautiful weather in Va.

2. Brandon crosses over to Boy Scouts! *So PROUD!

3. My *vintage* room is "coming" together.

4. Alexis got the Norovirus!!!  Big Fat DISLIKE! This causes obsessive compulsive type of cleaning that drives my family insane.

5. Both kiddo's leveled up in Swimming.  Their hard work is showing.

I have a vintage card share too.  It's vintage because it uses a set that is pretty old but I kept for just the right reasons.  Since it's retired I gave it my own name too.  It's my Johnny Depp set.  You know me and my PIRATE obsession.  Brandon had a birthday party and lo and behold the birthday boy holds an obsession like mine. He loves Pirates.  I had to make him a card using my favorite set.  Luckily this card did not have to go through airport security.  It would never make it with all the brads I used.

I hope your weekend is filled with fun things.  The next two nights we have scouting events.  It's going to be VERY busy.

  1. Congratulations to your family – love the pictures!!!!    And I am absolutely swooning over your fainting couch…fabulous!!!     Great card….am sure Brandon loved it!

  2. I LOVE the couch!  The color is great. I have an old burgundy velvet wing back chair with carved wood. Oh yeah, it's carved & chewed wood thanks to our newest dog! I guess he added his own carving to it.  That is a really cool card too!
Congrats. to the kids on all their achievements!

  3. Love your cards, your blog, your couch. . . it seems my son just crossed over, but many years have passed. He was just home to visit after a year in Afghanistan with the Marine Corps. Tell your little Scout to stick to it, being an Eagle Scout has been a huge asset in so many aspects of his life, totally worth the effort!
