Cutest Lamb Ever!
I can’t get over this sweet little lamb and I can’t get enough of him.
The Easter Lamb is as single wood stamp in the Occasions catalog that I personally have a crush on. I love that you can use this little guy for both Easter and Baby cards. SCORE!!
I recently did a swap with my team and this is my card I created for it. Simple enough to create in mass quantities and I love that the Easter Lamb doesn’t need much coloring. His cute little face says enough.
I dolled this card up with a few doilies because he reminds me of something very delicate just like doilies are.
I love using Texture Embossing folders and this one I used the negative side of the polka dots. It’s different and I loved how the circles all came together- circles on his little body, the circle punch, the White Perfect Accents. A balance of circles.
I did use a Blender Pen to color in his face, ears and legs using Blushing Bride. I also added a little Dazzling Diamonds over his body using a Two-Way Glue Pen.
This last photo I wanted to show you something else I did to give it just a WEE bit more texture. I didn’t use this for my swaps only to keep them a bit more simple, but I love how the Striped Scallop Thinlits added a bit more texture to the card. It wasn’t the entire card, just the focal area. I didn’t want to take away from the cutest lamb ever.
This might go down as the shortest post ever but great things are going on here at home…
I’ve been spending a little more time at the gym watching Alexis do her routines for her upcoming gymnastics meet this weekend. She is looking fantastic although really beating herself up as the level she is competing at is 2 levels higher than her normal. We had to have a little chat tonight about expectations. I love that she is shooting for the moon, but at the same time want her to realize this is the FIRST time she has competed at this level. In other words- hope for the best but don’t get your pants in a pinch if you score low.
Totally easy for mom to say. I am pretty sure she rolled her eyeballs at me. Thirteen is such a LOVELY age.
We are heading to Orlando on Friday for this gym meet. It’s a big one at the ESPN center. Wish her luck and pray she that I stay calm. The best part is we will celebrate regardless of the outcome on Sunday at Disney. YAY. I feel like a little girl.

I love your card. I hope you don’t mind if I case it. I love your blog and check it everyday. Don’t be so hard on your self. You are a great person.
Hope you BOTH do well at the meet. Even if she doesn’t do as well as she’d like, there’s always Disney after. How lucky you are to live in Florida! The best part is that she won’t be 13 forever lol! She is such a great kid and I hope she does great!
I love what you did with this card! I would love to share this on my blog for ‘My Crafty Friends Monday’ ! Please let me know if you would prefer that I didn’t share it (of course I give you credit and link back to your blog!).
Inky Hugs!
