Creating with Endless Birthday Wishes

Creating with Endless Birthday Wishes

The announcement of the NEW photopolymer stamp set Endless Birthday Wishes was just the boost of “FRESH and NEW” that I needed.  I love when Stampin’ Up! surprises us like this.  I love it even more when the stamp set is perfect like this one.

If you are a fan of handwriting fonts this set has them and they stamp CRISP on our cardstock.  That’s a happy happy day!

Creating with Endless Birthday Wishes, Stampin' up!

Regardless of your crafting style creating with Endless Birthday Wishes can be a simple card or a stepped up card.

This card is hands down QUICK.  I used the Work of Art stamp set (Chevron) and lightly brushed my marker across the image.  When I stamped the image I put a little lighter pressure so that the full image was not showing.  I just wanted a little dab of chevron.  Creating with Endless Birthday Wishes, Stampin' up!

You may ask why three stars and NOT two?

I always work in three’s to help balance the card design.  Try it and see what you think.  The stars are easily attached using Mini Glue dots and then a little rhinestone gives it the bling factor.

My second card I added a few more elements for a bit more WOW POW factor.  That’s what I say when I really like the design.  WOW and then POW!

The added elements are not many and if you look close NOT hard.

I decided to round the bottom corners of this card.  For the cake I used the Work of Art stamp set again with the watercolor image in the center and then I added the polka dot stamp image from the Endless Birthday Wishes set.  The only tricky part of this card is cutting the cake out.

To give the cake a little more depth I used dimensionals.  This was layered on a Naturals White punch and then layered onto a Bermuda Bay Starburst framelit.  I added the stars once again but instead of Rhinestones I added Candy Dots.

Candy Dots are something every crafter needs.  They are inexpensive and add so much little detail to a card.  They come in our core colors and I love how they coordinate with all of our products.  Make sure to have them on your list.  I always have these on hand.

  1. I love how you’ve combined these two sets. I just checked to see when the order I placed yesterday, which included Endless Birthday Wishes, is scheduled to be delivered. It was Thurs., but now had re-scheduled for early delivery tomorrow! I love it when that happens. I’m looking forward to using your inspiration.
